3rd person POV:

In a garden-like back yard behind an Asian style building next to Jen and Kai's apartment, was Kai himself and Mister Chan, training.

Balancing on top of a wooden post, Kai practiced a few fighting moves, while trying not to fall off.

Kai:!

After throwing a high kick, Kai began losing balance but managed to catch himself before falling.

Mister Chan: Balance! Don't forget to balance!

Kai: R-right!

Jen then walked into Mister Chan's backyard, where she saw her little brother training.

Mister Chan: Oh Jen-san. You train too?

Jen: Nah... I think I'm going to pass. Besides, my guns don't need any more training.

She begins flexing her arm.

Jen: See?

Mister Chan: This not 'bout strength. This 'bout-

Jen: Balance! I know!

Jen: Jesus... You say that word religiously.

Mister Chan: Because it true.

Mister Chan: I teach balance, to help you in life.

Jen: I get it, jeez... It's the only reason I let you teach him.

She rubs the bridge of her nose.

Mister Chan: Kai-san. I make tea. Want?

Kai: I'm okay, Mister Chan!

Mister Chan: Okay. Jen-san, come.

Jen: Why?

Mister Chan: I help with hangover.

Jen: Tch... You noticed...

Following her teacher indoors, Mister Chan prepared a tea for Jen to help with her hangover.

Mister Chan: Better?

Jen:(sips tea)

Jen: Better.

Jen: So... Any chance you might give me the recipe for this tea?

Mister Chan: Complete my training. You get it.

Jen: Ehh... I'll wait until Kai does it, and I'll get it from him.

Jen began to watch Kai train through a window.

Jen: Is this really the best idea?

Mister Chan: It helps him. If he finds his balance, he will be able to find himself.

Jen: Still. It just feels like you're making a grenade stronger.
