Part 1 || moving in

Y/N's POV <10 year old y/n>

Y/N: "mom look! A new neighbor!" I pointed at the people moving cardboard boxes inside the house next to us. She went beside me and we both looked out the window in my room

Mom: "you're right hunny"

Y/N: "can we invite them? We should be welcoming neighbors right?" I smiled cutely while I was holding onto my stuffed bunny named bun bun (I just got the name from Crazy rich Asians if u guys remember that scene HAHAHAHA-A/N)

Mom: "sure sweetie, I'll go over and invite them after they've settled" she patted my head and left my room closing the door. I turn back to look outside my window and see a boy slightly older than me putting down a box on the floor. Awww he's so cute! I wanna be friends with him.

Mom: "y/n! Come down the neighbors are here!" My eyes lit up but before going down I turn to look at the boy but he was gone. I shrugged it off and ran downstairs to see a very young and beautiful lady

Mrs.Park: "you must be y/n?" I nodded and sat beside my mom on the couch "oh who's this cute little bunny?" She said squishing the cheeks of my stuffed bunny

Y/N: "this is bun bun, he's cute right?"

Mrs.Park: "very dashing" I smiled

Mom: "so tell us about yourself"

Mrs.Park: "well we moved here because of my work with my husband and my kids" Kids? That means she has more than 1?

Mom: "oh how old are your kids?"

Mrs.Park: "my oldest Park Sunghoon who is 10 years old and my youngest Park Yeji who is 5 years old" (I searched in google the sister of Sunghoon irl and it said Park Yeji if u guys r wondering, and it said their age gap was 5 years so I'm just basing this from google-A/N) oh she's younger than me, but maybe I still be friends with them? Yeah that's his name

There was a knock on the door and I stood up to get it. I opened it and it revealed a tall man with 2 kids behind him.

Mrs.Park: "oh honey!" She stood up and walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek "this is my husband and kids"

Mom: "nice to meet you, I should go call my husband. Y/n call your brother" I nodded

I ran up the stairs knocking loudly on my brothers room

Y/N: "Jay oppa! We have guests downstairs!" He opened the door and looked at me irritatedly "come on!" I pulled his arm since he was very resistant

Jay: "yah! I was playing my video games!"

Y/N: "well we have guests down stairs and you have to greet them" Jay was always annoyed with me but I know I have a soft spot in him. Jay is my twin brother so we sometimes fight but we still love each other

Y/N: "Eomma! I brought oppa down"

Jay: "hello everyone" he bowed greeting them

Dad: "how about you kids go and talk while we parents have our own conversation?" We nodded and I pulled Yeji's arm and Jay brought Sunghoon. We went inside Jay's room and sat on the floor

Jay: "so... what do you guys like to do?" Sunghoon looked away not answering. He's quiet I thought

Yeji: "I like playing video games at home. I'm not good but I still enjoy trying them" Jay's eyes lit up

Jay: "I have video games here you want to try?" Yeji nodded and they moved to Jay's video game station or whatever

Y/N: "you don't talk much do you?" I questioned him but he just shook his head no "do you like doing anything for fun?" He still didn't answer *sigh* oh I know! I stood up and ran to my room to get bun bun since I left him there when I called Jay. I ran back inside the room and sat in front of Sunghoon

Y/N: "look Sunghoon oppa, this is my bunny his name is bun bun. Do you like him?" I asked showing it in front of his face but he just looked away "hello Sunghoon I heard from my friend you're not talking to her" I said talking in the voice of bun bun "she's sad because you're ignoring her" he looked at me with a poker face "would you like to play with- *sneeze*" aishhh I sneezed so I scratched my nose

Sunghoon: *giggle* I look at him shocked, I made him giggle

Bun bun: "can Sunghoon oppa smile? I think he will look handsome if he smiles" he blushed but smiled anyway

Y/N: "you smiled!" He immediately went back to his poker faces and I frowned

Bun bun: "can Sunghoon oppa smile again?" He looked at the bunny then at me

Y/N: "please?" He smiled and my face lit up "you should smile more" he nodded

Mom: "Y/N! JAY! The Parks are going now! Say goodbye to them" me and Jay both awed in sadness but we stood up from the floor and walked them to the door

Y/N: "bye Yeji! Bye Sunghoon oppa!"

Yeji: "bye Unnie!!" She hugged me and I hugged back. I looked at Sunghoon and smiled and was about to close the door but Sunghoon stopped it

Sunghoon: "c-can we be friends?" My mouth dropped open

Y/N: "you talked!" He chuckled nervously

Sunghoon: "yeah... anyway do you wanna be friends?" I was still very shocked from all this

Y/N: "su-sure! Let's be friends" he smiled and walked away with his family.

I smiled closing the door and walked up to my room. I picked up bun bun from the floor and hopped on my bed.

Y/N: "you got Sunghoon oppa to smile!" I exclaimed looking at bun bun

I got up and looked out the window and see Sunghoon entering his room. Wait our houses are so near! And there's a tree that connects our rooms

Y/N: "Sunghoon Oppa!" I yelled waving my hands. He looked at me and widened his eyes. He softened his expression and waved back.

I hope I can be good friends with him, I smiled to myself lying down again on my bed
