Sunghoon's POV

I lazily got up from my bed and looked out the window. Still the same... no difference, still closed up not allowing anyone to see in or out. I've been in my room for quite a while, maybe I should visit the skating rink again. Maybe I can see y/n- wait no! Why am I even looking for her? I brushed off my thoughts and grabbed my jacket. I peeked outside my door to see if anyone was there and luckily there wasn't. I quietly closed my door and headed out. *inhale* wow it's been a while since I've been outside

<ice rink>

I entered the ice rink and I heard someone skating again. I closed the door and took a look at who it was

Y/N: "oh hi Sunghoon!" Yup it was her. I waved and sat down again "are you not skating again?" I shook my head no and she sighed "I don't know what you do here but hopefully I can see you skate soon" I felt bad but I swore to myself I'd never skate again without y/n. She skated for a while and I just couldn't take my eyes off of her. She had the exact same style as y/n.

She skated for a while and went to the side to catch her breathe. I stood up and approached the exit. She noticed me and came closer

Y/N: "I'm done skating and I'm planning to go to the convenience store to buy ice cream, wanna come?" I look up at her surprised. She wants to hangout with me even if I don't talk? Doesn't she find me weird? I nodded hesitantly and she smiled pulling me by my wrist towards the exit. We ran and ran while she was still holding onto my wrist

I look at her hand as we were running. Wow... this reminds me of the time when I was pulling y/n to the ice rink when we were kids. I teared up at the memory and looked up while closing my eyes hoping my tears wouldn't fall. My eyes were still closed when I suddenly bumped something small. I opened my eyes to see y/n was about to fall back. I caught her back with my hand preventing her from falling.

Y/N: "th-thanks" she looked up at me and I looked down at her. She had the exact eyes of y/n. The same eyes that made me fall in love with her. My heart started beating fast at the thought and that's when I knew I had to snap out of it. I pulled her up so she could stand up straight and I looked away "anyway we're here now, which flavor do you want?" I wanted to say chocolate but then I didn't give her any reply. She shrugged her shoulders and skipped her way into the store.

I sat down on the park bench outside waiting for her to come out. A few minutes later she came out with 2 ice creams, 1 strawberry and the other chocolate.

Y/N: "here you go!" She stretched out her hand offering me the chocolate flavored one

Y/N's POV

Sunghoon: "h-how did you k-know I like ch-chocolate?" I widened my eyes as I turned my head as fast as I could

Y/N: "you're talking!" I smiled widely and he looked shocked but then blushed looking away. I giggled and clapped while turning around happily "I can't believe you talked!" I clapped one last final time and faced him again

Sunghoon: "ye-yeah" he said scratching the back of his neck

Y/N: "daebak! But anyway you just looked like you like chocolate like your a chocolate guy ya know?" I chuckled and he smiled. We started walking around the park just enjoying the atmosphere we're in.

Sunghoon: "so you enjoy ice skating?"

Y/N: "yeah but there's always something missing like I enjoy it but then... I don't know" he nodded

Sunghoon: "I used to go ice skating" I looked to my side facing him and the corner of my lip smiled

Y/N: "you did? Why did you stop?" He clenched his jaw and started tearing up but then looked away trying to secretly wipe his tears but of course I noticed "sorry, never mind" I wonder why... we continued walking and talked for a bit more until I got a phone call

Sunghoon's POV

I was enjoying her company a lot, I felt very comfortable with her. It's almost like... I'm regaining my happiness again. We were talking until she got a phone call

Y/N: "hello?... Does it have to be now?... Uhhh fine bye" that voice sounded familiar... maybe I'm just imagining things "sorry Hoonie I have to go my brother is calling me. I'll see you soon ok?" She ran off before I could say a word. Hoonie? The nickname y/n called me. I continued walking aimlessly thinking about y/n and what it'd be like if she was here with me right now

I entered my house and my whole family was sitting in our living room. They looked serious, like really serious. I didn't feel like talking so I was about to go up

Mom: "honey sit down" I ignored her and continued walking up the stairs but what Yeji said next made me stop in my tracks

Yeji: "it's about y/n!"
