Part 13 || the story

Y/N's POV

I scoffed while looking at the door. You're no different from my ex. I ran to my best friend's house with my stuff just thinking what my life will be like living with that jerk. Are we just gonna fight the whole time? Is this how my whole is gonna be? I can't even marry the person I love? I wiped my tears and knocked on her door many times

Mina: "chill who's-" she stopped after seeing my state "y/n! What happened?" She hugged me right away and helped me bring in my stuff. Her parents weren't around but they knew my situation so they understood.

Y/N: "Jay and I got into a big fight, he snooped through the box and he slapped me" Mina's eyes widened and she covered her mouth as she gasped

Mina: "he slapped you?!" I nodded "how do you know he looked through the box?"

Y/N: "when I was gonna tell him I was staying with you for a few days, he wasn't in the house and I wanted to tell him personally so I tried looking for him but then..." I bit my lip knowing what her reactions gonna be

Mina: "what?"

Y/N: "don't freak out ok... but then I bumped into Yeonjun" I closed my eyes waiting for her reaction but I didn't get one. I looked at her as she inhaled and exhaled while closing her eyes

Mina: "I'm just gonna keep my cool for now, but if I see him I have a taser upstairs and someone's gonna get it in the-"

Y/N: "yeah I got it" I hugged her and she hugged me back. Thank god I have her.

Mina: "why don't you go upstairs and freshen up I need to go somewhere"

Y/N: "where you going?"

Mina: "secret now just go up" I nodded and went upstairs. I was kinda suspicious but I just let it be

Mina's POV

I watched her go up with a smile and once I heard the door close my facial expression changed. Oh Jay you're dead meat! I got up and ran to Jay and y/n's house.

Mina: "Jay!" I kicked down the door and I was flaming with anger. I looked around but I softened my expression when I saw him crying by the stairs. I was expecting him to be alright and chill like he didn't care about what happened but... did he really fall for y/n? I approached him and looked down on him "Jay" he slowly looked up with his eyes all red

Jay: "I-I slapped her..."

Mina: "you fucking did" he didn't respond but just stayed silent "want to know what caused y/n's trauma?" He looked up at me with a curious face. I sat down beside him and sighed "you know that Yeonjun is y/n's ex right?" He nodded "I'm sure you saw what was in that box right? They looked happy and you can tell they really liked each other" I faced him just to see he was looking straight but I can tell he was still listening to me so I continued "but then 4th year highschool came around" he faced me and just looked at me to continue "Yeonjun started- he started treating her badly"

Jay: "h-how?" I sadly smiled

Mina: "they moved in together for 4th year highschool. They didn't do anything physical they just wanted to spend more time with each other before College since they were planning to go to different ones" he nodded "I guess they spent too much time together that they started fighting a lot. He started hitting her which she would always go to me to help her cover her bruises before school"

Jay's POV

I felt so bad, I'm the same as Yeonjun! We fought and I hit her!

Mina: "this went on for a while and he started cheating on her" I widened my eyes and faced her

Jay: "how many times?"

Mina: "in total 6..." 6 times and she still stayed with him?

Jay: "how come she stayed with him even after all that?" Her mouth went to a straight line and sighed looking down

Mina: "y/n really liked him, he was her first love" i gulped "so one day y/n got sick of his behavior and that's when they broke up. He left her in the apartment broken and a mess. She called me and when I arrived there, everything was out of place. Pillows were on the floor, clothes were scattered everywhere, picture frames were broken..." that's when he recalled the broken one in the box

Jay: "I'm an idiot"

Mina's POV

I faced him to clarify

Jay: "I'm exactly like him! We moved in together and started fighting, I slapped her unintentionally, and she accused me of cheating on her"

Mina: "cause you did!" He faced me with a scared face

Jay: "please Mina! You have to believe me! I really didn't! Look I can get her to confess please! Just give me this one chance" I bit my lip not knowing if I should believe him or not

Mina: "f-fine... one chance" Jay instantly pulled out his phone and started texting someone "what's your plan?"

Jay: "that girls been asking me out so I'll agree and while I record her voice I'll get her to confess about me cheating on y/n with her"
