His eyes blazing with a rare fire. His grasp on her hand was tight enough to leave a bruise, his sword inches away from her neck.
"Where are you trying to go, my love?" he whispered dangerously in her ears

Pia rushed into the room and saw Lavanya sobbing and panicking while sitting on the floor. Lav was a mess acting like she doesn't know what to do , This panicked Pia. Pia did not know what is happening or what to do. She kneeled towards Lav and sat next to her.
"Lav , Tell me what is going on , WE need to do something , just tell me what is it , I will handle everything just relax and tell me" said Pia trying to comfort Lav and trying to get a hang of what all is going on
"Pia, a person came in here and attacked Harsh, Harsh pushed me away from the place to secure me and I fell down, By the time I got up , the person hit harsh with some dart and got out of there, I tried to catch the person but I couldn't" said Lav
"Dart?" asked Pia, she got up and moved to unconscious laying Harsh and saw a dart in his neck. She slowly took out the dart and saw amounts of poison, she could understand that the most amount of poison already reached his blood stream. Pia got up and ran towards the other side of the place.
"Call the medic now , its an emergency" said Pia and the messengers left the palace in a hurry, Pia was completely clueless of what to do. She went and woke up some elders but they too didn't have any idea of what is happening.
"God, give me some power and don't let anything happen to Harsh" Pia whispered a small prayer and rushed to Lav and Harsh's room. Lav was still crying and Panicking , Pia didn't have any idea on how to control the situation. She kneeled towards Lav , the elders and all were standing next to laying Harsh.
"Lav , breathe in breathe out , he is going to be fine, don't worry" said Pia trying to comfort Lav, but Pia didn't even know that would things would alright or would he be fine, She just gave comforting words which seemed right to her.
Pia slowly held Lav and helped her get up. Pia took Lav to her room, She made Lav sit in the bed beside sleeping Praneel who was unknown to what was happening. Pia gave Lav a glass of water and tried to comfort her.
"Queen's , the medic is asking for you" said a helper and Pia nodded.
"Stay here with Lav and I will check upon it, don't let her move from here, get it" said Pia and the helper nodded. Pia walked towards Harsh's room and saw the medic waiting for her, no one else was in the room.
"Queen Piara" said the medic and bowed towards her , she nodded.
"Tell me what is happening" said Pia
"The poison is quite dangerous in nature but I was able to control it to an extend so Death is out but its still very serious" said The medic and Pia was confused, she was happy that he will survive
"But what" asked Pia
"There is high chance that he will be paralyzed forever because that is the main effect of this poison other than death, even miracles wont do much because Paralyze seems to be inevitable but I will try my best , we cant pin point to anything until he wakes up" said The medic and Pia nodded.
She left the room and Medic went back to his works. Pia walked down the corridor and slid down to the floor. She was in tears, she tried to hold back but she couldn't, She couldn't see this happening to her childhood best friend. She slowly wiped her tears.
"Pia, where are you" called out Taresh
"I'm over here" said Pia and wiped her tears.
"What is happening over here, doll, you know that tears doesn't suit you" said Taresh and Pia nodded
"I know that its scary what's happening now but stay strong, you are in no form to take any sorts of stress, everything will be fine doll, you need to stay strong and be there for Lavanya, Everything is going to be fine doll, I'm here for you" said Taresh sitting next to her
"Nothing is going to be fine, There is a high chance that Harsh is going to Paralyzed , I wish that would never happen, Everything is going crazy now" said Pia, she started sobbing on Taresh's shoulders. He hugged her and tried to comfort , he was too having trouble digesting the whole thing
"Doll , miracles happen and hold on to that, Our Harsh is going to be fine, He is strong and will fight, You need not worry and hurt yourself like this , remember about the baby's health too" said Taresh, He tried to stay strong for his fragile friend
"'Don't lie Taresh , I know you too much and i also know that you are feeling like how i am feeling , it is just too scary , holding on to hope is getting harder" said Pia and Taresh smiled realising how much she knew him
"You are not the only person who keeps a strong face when everything is crumbling , for the world to see being strong isn't your thing only" said Taresh
"Where is Queen Piara, King Lakshya is here" asked a helper to an another helper, Taresh overheard this.
"You go and meet your husband and the king of your heart , i will handle stuff over here for a while , be strong Doll" said Taresh and Pia nodded
In a corner of the palace , a lady was laughing seeing what just happened, She had witnessed what just happened. She was happy , She couldn't stop but admire what fate has kept everything in. She couldn't still believe what just happened , She was truly satisfied.
"What can I say other than Karma is such a B*itch" said the lady.....

What a wonderful journey.. From every 3 day update to every 10 days. Any way I thought to update yesterday but procastinated and here we are. 2 more chapters to go!!!
