Afternoon Readers
So for some of you, you may already be aware that I was working on a deal with Galatea to publish THE CHOSEN series.
This is a message to advise that the deal with Galatea has fallen through. Some of the scenes in THE CLAIMING were not suitable for their platform.
However, on the positive, I have taken their feedback on board and have re-written several scenes within the story making the below changes:
• Changed the rape scene between Griffin and Ava to be consensual – there is still all the passion and Ava is still out of her mind with HEAT. But consent is given before any nasty stuff.
• Changed the age of Griffin when he is in the facility – he is now 13-14
• Removed the sexual abuse to Griffin as a minor – nothing occurs until he is 18
• Remove the physical abuse to Griffin as a minor - nothing occurs until he is 18
I have kept the story scenes the same, just reworded them to make them less rapey and abusive to a minor.
So what does this mean? It means that I will continue to post THE CHOSEN series on Wattpad for now and will look at self-publishing in the future.
