Erica's POV

Four Years Later

I hummed softly my favorite song while walking at the shore alone, just waiting for her. I smiled as I gently pressed my palm on my chest. Sometimes I just felt Andrea was still with me.

It's been four years, I felt it was energetic, or hyper. Perhaps those were from Andrea.

"Hey baby," I chuckled when I heard my favorite soft voice near my ears, followed by a pair of soft arms gently slipped around my waist and my dearest gently planted a soft kiss on my cheek.

"What took you so long, babe," I complain playfully.

"I'm sorry. I was having a quick discussion with my buddies about the gig later," Alexis explained with a chuckled as I turned to face her and planted a soft kiss on her lips as her smile grew wider.

Since that night I met her, we started to be a friend and we officially became a couple after a year.

No matter how I was still never let go of Andrea. She had given me her heart. But, I hate that I was too selfish to keep Alexis because I'm in love with her too.

Somehow, Alexis always told me Andrea would never be replaced and never be forgotten. She told me as long as our feeling was mutual she was more than happy.

My train of thought was cut off by Alexis' soft hand gently pressing my chest. She said softly, "I just want you to know. She deserved to be missed, baby. I can feel she is always in here with you."

Before I could open my mouth, Alexis gently pressed her lips on mine. I eventually nibbled her lips as she gently returned the kiss.

We pulled away as she smiled and assured me to say something to her. I liked the way she did to me and I sighed softly and said, "I hate myself is selfish to you and you don't deserve a person like me who is still missing her late girlfriend."

Alexis smiled, "Andrea was a great girlfriend who had been through with you in your hard time. She saved your life. She wanted you to live, she wanted you to be happy. Also, that's a fate we met, and we become a couple for years. We love each other is the matter, baby."

I felt the knot climbing up my throat and said with a sob, "I'm in love with you, babe. But, I'll always miss Andrea. Very much. That's unfair to you and that's disturbing me. I shouldn't agree to be couple with you, babe."

Alexis cupped my face and gently wiped off my tears, "Don't say like that, baby. I'm glad you decided to be with me. I'll be heartbreaking if you break up with me."

"No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean like that. I will never want to break up with you. I love you." I buried my face in the crook of her neck and she gently patted my head.

"Do you remember that night I had a car accident?" Alexis asked softly as I nodded my head with my tears streaming down.

She said with a tone of sadness, "I will never forget your voice. I was heartbroken when I heard you. You keep crying for asking me to stay alive and be with you. You told me you will never want to lose someone you love again."

She gently caressed my head and said, "From that moment, I fight for my life and I promise I will stay with you forever no matter how."

I pulled away from her as I saw her hazel eyes were teary and tears streaming down from the corner of her eyes. "Whenever you miss her, you can share everything about her with me. We can laugh and cry together."

I gently slipped the strand of her dark hair behind her ears as she gently held my hand with a smile. I said softly to her, "I don't know what to say, but thank you."
