Elliana

I wake up to my alarm clock beeping, six o'clock, time to get ready. I dress in a black hoodie, skinny blue jeans, and my brown rain boots before brushing through my straight hair.
Once ready I head down stairs and begin making pancakes, bacon, scrambled eggs, and toast. Soon enough both Bella and dad are in the kitchen, me handing them their plates.
Once we're all seated and eating, dad speaks up.
"Ellie, I was thinking you could show Bella around the school. Introduce her to some of your friends?"
"They wouldn't get along." I grumble before shoveling a spoonful of eggs in my mouth.
"Ellie." He sternly says.
"Fine, whatever." I say, getting up and putting my dishes in the sink before leaving to brush my teeth.

"What's up, girl?!" Trixie yells as her and Mia climb in my car.
"I gotta introduce y'all to Bella, dad's orders." I look at her before driving towards the school.
"How's it been?" Mia asks and I scoff.
"Our rooms are right next to each other and she doesn't know the walls are thin. She was complaining to Renee about us three having to share a bathroom. Like single parent, sorry we can't afford a mansion for you." I rant and Trixie holds me knee as a show of comfort. "It's just, he is so excited about her being here, hell, y'all know, and it's like she expects so much. Dad's gone 24/7 working to pay the bills and I'm busting my ass off at the diner to help with other necessities because the man can only do so much. And I don't mean to complain it's just..." I sigh.
"It's a lot ." Mia says and Trix and I nod our heads pulling into the school parking lot. "I'm sure everything will work out." She says as we climb out of the car.
"I hope so, or else she's gonna lose it." Trix says to Mia but I hear.
"Hey!" I gasp, causing us to laugh but I soon stop as I see Bella approaching. "Bella," I greet as she stops in front of us, "this is Trixie and Mia."
"Hi." She awkwardly waves at them.
"Let's go." I say, pushing past Bella as my friends and her follow.
Once we're inside, I point Bella towards the office and Trix, Mia, and I quickly leave her to head to our English class which is across the school yard.
"That went well." Mia says as we take our seats.
"She's very awkward." Trix comments and I nod in agreement.
"At least you work everyday after school so you won't see her that often." Mia tries to cheer me up as I have been in a sour mood since Bella arrived.

It is now lunch time and Trix, Mia, and I are sitting at our table and eating when I spot Bella walking in with a guy in our grade named Eric.
"Good, she's not sitting with us." I say more to myself than my friends.
"Eww! She's sitting with Jessica Stanley." Trix says, a look of disgust upon her face. I look back over and see Tyler Crowley kiss Bella's cheek and pull the chair out from under Mike Newton. "Why are they all obsessed with her?" Trix mutters as I wonder the same thing.
"You know how boys are, they love the new toy." Mia says before shoveling a forkful of salad into her mouth.
"Until the toy breaks." I mutter before continuing to eat my salad as well.

Finally, schools over and now I'm at work. I'm a waitress at Forks Diner, it pays well and I get a good amount of tips, which is great for groceries and left over money.
I hear the door open and look to see Dad and Bella. I walk over and hand Bella a menu as Dad tells me he wants his usual - double cheeseburger with everything, fries, and a coke.
"The doctor said you need to cut back on the red meat." I mutter, writing his order down and turning to Bella for hers.
"Burger with fries and a water." She mutters and I quickly write it down before handing it off to the cook. I quickly do a round of coffee for the patrons that want it before sitting and asking dad how his day was. Martha - the owner - doesn't mind as long as I do my work before hand.
"It was the same old, but tomorrow I'll be working late." He tells me and I nod at him. "How's Trixie and Mia?" He asks me.
"They're fine, Trix got accepted in that IT internship this summer over in Seattle." I inform him and he smiles. It's all Trix has been talking about this year.
"That's good," he says before turning to Bella, "Bella, you're on your own for a bit tomorrow, Ellie works 'til closing here after school." He informs her.
"We close at eleven, so figure something out for dinner." I tell her before going to get their food as I hear the cook ring the bell.
