After dinner one of the telephone crows approach Hunter. He tilts his head curiously and grabs it. Who's calling him?

"Belos would like to speak with you, urgently." A voice says.

Hunter tenses up.

"Yes, right away. I'll be there in 10." Hunter replies, shakily.

"Would you make it 5? He's impatient." The voice says again.

"Yes. Actually you know what, I'll be there in 3." Hunter says.

"Perfect he'll be waiting." The voice says.

Hunter hangs up, and the crow flies away.

"What's wrong?" You ask, reaching to Pat his shoulder.

He grabs your wrist and softly pulls it away from him.

"Nothing, important uh family.. stuff. I'll talk to you later." He says pulling out his staff.

"Wait, Hunt-"

"I'll see you! Bye." Hunter says rushing off.

Your parents exit the restaurant finally, after paying the bill, and approach you.

"Where'd he go?" Mom asked.

"He had a family emergency, he needed to go fast." You say.

"Oh, hope he's okay, good kid." Dad nods.

"Yeah, I'm sure he'll be fine, let's head home shall we?" Mom asks.

You watch Hunter fly away, as you and your family go the opposite.

Hunter didn't make it in 3, he made it in 8. He was late.

"There you are, he's furious, go see him." A coven guard says, grabbing Hunter by the arm, and shoving him to the door.

"S-sorry." Hunter says, adujusting his mask.

He opens the door and it immediately shuts behind him. The room is dark, with a few of the lights dimmed.

It's silent.

Hunter stands there shakily, and begins walking to the throne. But Belos isn't on his throne.

Hunter starts looking around to find where he could be, turning his head from side to side. But he just meets his eyes with darkness over and over again.

"Tell me, where have you been?" A deep voice says right behind him.

Hunter flinches and turns around to meet Belos in the eyes.

"I was out." Hunter says, immediately regretting what he said.

"Doing what?" Belos says.

"I know it wasn't a mission Hunter." Belos says.

"Researching." Hunter says trying to maintain his cool.

"You better not be going on with this CURE Hunter." Belos says angrily.

"U-um, i am. And um. I'm sorry." Hunter says looking down.

"Was that a stutter? And don't look at the ground, is the ground really that interesting? Look at me." Belos says through gritted teeth, forcing Hunters face upwards.

Hunter tries to keep a steady breath, but his hearts racing.

"Take off your mask, and LOOK ME IN THE EYES." Belos yells.

Hunter immediately removes his mask, and holds it shakily in his hand. Belos removes his, revealing a smirk.

"You know... something tells me you're lying about... researching, even though it's a very Hunter thing if you to do." Belos clicks his tongue.
