In the depths of my soul, there lies a chasm A place of darkness, a place of phantom Where echoes of memories, haunt my mind And visions of the past, are hard to unwind
The scars of life, etched deep within A reminder of battles fought and wins The pain of loss, the sorrow of regret A burden I carry, an unyielding debt
Yet amidst the darkness, there is a light A flicker of hope, burning bright A voice that whispers, "You are enough" A force that guides, when the road is tough
And so I rise, from the depths below A spirit renewed, a heart aglow With each step forward, I leave the past And find the strength, to face what's to last
For life is a journey, a winding road Full of twists and turns, with heavy loads But with each step taken, I find my way And chase my dreams, come what may
So let the chasm be, a reminder of pain For in its darkness, there's much to gain And in the light, there's hope anew A chance to rise, and start anew.
I wrote "The Phoenix's Ascent" with the intention of inspiring those who may be going through a difficult time. Life is full of challenges, and it's easy to get lost in the darkness and feel like there's no way out. But the truth is, there is always hope, even in the darkest of places.
I hope this poem encourages you to keep moving forward, no matter what obstacles you may face. Remember that you are stronger than you think and that you have the power to overcome anything.
