Shadows and light, they dance in the sky, A never-ending waltz as time goes by, One chases the other, a constant game, A metaphor for life, it's all the same.
For every shadow, there's a gleaming ray, For every night, there comes a brighter day, The shadows that we see, they are but brief, For light will always come, to bring relief.
The shadows of our past, they often haunt, Like dark clouds in the sky, they seem to taunt, But just like the sun, we too can rise, And shine so bright, to light up the skies.
The light of hope, it shines so bright, It helps us through the darkest night, For shadows may come, but they won't stay, For light will come, to lead the way.
In life, we all have our shadows and light, The good and the bad, the wrong and the right, But if we keep our focus on the light, Our shadows will fade, and our future will be bright. ________________________________________________________________________________ Genre: Inspirational Poetry
I am delighted to present to you my poem "Shadows and Light". This poem was inspired by the way shadows and light interact in nature, and how they symbolize the ups and downs of life.
