"One room for Champion?" The lady at the front desk of our hotel says "Yes and there should be one for Reid," I say with a smile 

"Sorry, I'm not seeing that," She shakes her head while looking at her computer "Are you sure?" I question confused "Yea, I'm sorry Ma'am," She says looking at me 

"Okay, Will you give me one second?" I say with a smile before walking away, I pull out my phone and dial my manager's number considering he's the one who booked my hotel room 

"Hey," I say to him as he picks up "Hey, is everything okay?" He questions "Um, so I'm at Jack and I's hotel in Georgia and it says that I don't have a hotel room booked here," I say slowly 

"Oh, shoot, I completely forgot to tell you, they didn't have any other rooms available when I called so Jack's manager just put you guys in a room together, but it should have two different beds," He says and I sigh 

"Okay," I say "I'm sorry, I should have told you but it slipped my mind," He says softly "It's okay, really," I say 

"Okay, well I have to go, stay safe and have fun," He says before hanging up and I walk back over toward Jack "Everything okay?" He says as I stand next to him 

"Yea, just um our managers had us actually sharing a hotel room," I say looking away from him "Oh," He says "Okay, so just the one room for Champion?" The lady says to us 

"Yes," Jack nods "All right, here you are, enjoy your stay," She says while handing Jack two key cards, I grab my luggage and follow behind him 

We reach the room and Jack opens the door, we walk in to be met with, yup you guessed it, only one bed. "My manager said there should be two beds," I say confused as we just stand there 

"I'll just sleep on the floor or something," he shrugs "Have you even looked at the floor? There are probably all kinds of bacterial on it," I laugh "We can both sleep on the bed it's fine," I shrug

"Are you sure?" He says "Yea, it's fine," I say sitting on the bed "Okay," He says sitting on the opposite side 

"Wanna see what's on tv?" I ask him while I grab the remote and lean back on the bed "Yea sounds good to me," He says also leaning back 

"Oh thank god this is a smart tv," I laugh "We can watch something on Netflix," I suggest 

"Yea," He says nervously "What's wrong?" I ask him "What are you talking about?" He says quickly

"Your voice is all shaky and you're practically falling off the edge of the bed," I say looking at him "Nothing, I'm fine," He shakes his head 

"Jack I know you, clearly something is bothering you," I say sitting up and bringing my legs closer to my body "Indi, I promise I'm fine," he shrugs while looking away 

"I'm not going to force you to talk to me, but I am here if you want to talk," I say softly "Yea," He nods his head 

"Can I tell you something?" He says and I nod my head "After we broke up, you had a concert in LA," He says "Yea," I say softly 

"I was there," He says looking down "What?" I say confused because I thought he was in Virginia "I was actually on my way to surprise you, and then we broke up while I was in my hotel room," He says and my heart drops 

"I went to your concert anyways, because I loved seeing you on that stage and talking with your fans, you always seem so happy, and I just wanted to see that one last time," He says while looking down 

"I didn't know," I say shaking my head in disbelief "I didn't want you to," He says finally looking at me "I'm so sorry," I say sincerely 

"You have nothing to be sorry for," He shakes his head while sitting up "I wouldn't... I wouldn't have, Idk," I say shaking "You wouldn't have broken up with me?" He says 

"Idk," I shake my head "I mean if we wanna get technical I broke up with you," He shrugs "Yea, but I started the conversation that ended it all," I shake my head while tears form in my eyes 

"You had every right to, and if it didn't happen that day, it still would have happened," He shrugs "Neither of us was in a good place to be together," He says wiping a tear that fell down my face 

"You know, I almost didn't come on the press tour," I say looking into his eyes "I didn't think I could handle seeing you," I shake my head slightly 

"I convinced myself everything was going to be fine, and that it would be over before I knew it," I say picking at my nails 

"I didn't want to come either, I didn't think I could have been around you for a month. I told myself that we were going to be just like before we dated, and that made me want to come. I wanted to see you," He says 

"I missed you, Jack," I say sighing "I missed you too, Indi," He says softly 

"I hate that we didn't talk, I hate that I had so much anxiety built up just thinking about being around you, I have never ever felt like that," I say and he pulls me in for a hug 

We stayed like that for the rest of the night, holding each other and saying everything we have wanted to say since the day we broke up.
