after a lot of thinking, and scolding from keiji, you finally agreed to meet atsumu today. i mean, it was just so you two could get along better, and you should stop being more stubborn!
you got dressed and hyped yourself up a little before leaving the house. it was a really casual "hang out" since atsumu asked you to go to an amusement park.
once you reached, atsumu called you.
miya atsumu "hey i'm here, where are you?"
"uhh im at the entrance."
miya atsumu "oh okay hold on i see ya"
he said before hanging up.
just then, you felt a tap on your shoulder and turned around to see atsumu standing there. he smiled and you before leading the way. you took a deep breath before trailing after him.

you wouldn't say this "hang out" was all bad. you guys rode lots of rides, atsumu threw up a few times... but other than that, he was pretty fun to be around. he made a lot of stupid jokes, and was also surprisingly patient.
miya atsumu "hey y/n, let's go on the ferris wheel before we head home"
atsumu suggested. you nodded and followed him. once the both of you got on, it was silent for a while. you just stared out the window and started taking pictures of the sunset. just then, to break the silence, both of you said at the same time.
"hey-"
miya atsumu "so y/n-"
you laughed.
"you go first"
he laughed too.
miya atsumu "its not much, i just wanted to ask you like why you're such a bitch whenever i talk to ya"
"wow okay! i just simply dont like you miya"
miya atsumu "way to crush a guy's ego y/n. you're always so uptight around me during training."
"i dont know im stressed? i guess. i mean this is our last season and im afraid i wont do enough to help my team."
miya atsumu "but you are THE l/n y/n. well known in the volleyball industry because you are just amazing."
you punched atsumu lightly
"okay stop it. i just feel like i can always be better you know? i mean i feel like im always in my brothers shadow, and it takes much more effort for me to be half as recognisable as them."
miya atsumu "yeah i feel you. but why are you always so rude to me, no offence but no girl can resist the charms of miya atsumu."
you rolled your eyes
"i dont know i just feel like i dont know you well enough? i mean i only really talk to people im comfortable with you know what im saying!!"
miya atsumu "okay then lets get to know each other. favourite colour?"
"[favourite colour]"
miya atsumu "ooh me too. what about your favourite animal?"
"honestly dogs, they're so cute."
miya atsumu "im more of a cat person not gonna lie"
"NO FUCKING WAY."
miya atsumu "WHAT they're more lazy ya know? they don't take a lot of work."
"wow coming from someone who is annoying and irritating."
miya atsumu "okay fuck you."
the both of you laughed, maybe he really isn't that bad?
