Greyson could see the frown on the girl's face, in a few minutes the bell was gonna ring.
The professor was sitting on his chair, and students were taking down the notes he wrote on the board, but his attention was more focused on the shy, yet quiet girl Lolita in the corner.
He took a deep breath as he acted to fix his posture in the chair, but secretly. He was looking at what the girl was doing, and Greyson found her phone was out, secretly looking at something beneath the table.
Yet on the other side
Lolita frowned when seeing she received no messages or calls from one of her parents, it made the girl sad. She knows how her parents treated her yet she expected they'd greet her after she arrived at the university, thinking that there might be times they'd miss her. But there was none
Grayson stood from his seat, the loud chair caused the girl to let out a small gasp and look up from her phone. Lolita's eyes met his
The professor was gonna open his mouth to speak, to put her phone away. But before he had the chance, the bell rang, causing Greyson to sigh in frustration and cast his eyes off the young girl
" class dismissed" he announced.
Lolita swallowed the lump in her throat and shoved her phone inside her bag, taking her notebooks and pens as she put her things inside. Jane and the girl walked out of the classroom
And when Greyson was watching the girl walk past his desk, he could see the girl turning her head toward his ways giving him a small smile before stepping out of his classroom. Now that the girl was gone from his sight, Greyson took a deep breath and sat back in his chair, rather than focusing on the next lesson he'd open up to the next year's student. His mind was focused on the young girl
During his lecture, there were times when the professor would steal glances from Lolita, which made him smile secretly when noticing the girl was focusing on his class like her friend.
And there would be times when the girl would catch him staring at her, which Greyson would immediately look away.
He's a professor and he knows she's only a student, the school strictly forbids any of the teachers to have a relationship with any of their students, and he knows it. He knows the consequences he'll face, but the moment Greyson shuts his eyes to relieve his headache

And yes, the man admits he already has read the story, he's an English teacher after all. But deep inside of him, he desires the same girl like Lolita from the book
He never believed that there was a girl like her in this world. But when Greyson walks into his class, the time his eyes meet the bright green ones, and after learning her name. She was indeed Lolita.

When the redhead girl beside her best friend, made their way to the cafeteria hall to have their breakfast for the day. As Jane was talking about literature, Lolita's thoughts were somewhere, she picked up a tray and looked at the available food that the cafeteria could offer.
There were vegetables, omelets, pancakes, and other breakfasts available.
But to Jane's curiosity, Lolita only picked a cup of black coffee and a lollipop from her pocket, they sat together in the hall, watching her friend unwrap the lollipop and place it inside her mouth.
" you're not going to eat? " Jane asked and took a bit of her bacon. Lolita shook her head
" I'm still full from the dinner I ate last night " the girl replies, letting the cherry-flavored sugar be melted in her tongue.
" anyways, what you think about you're the first day of school? " Jane asked again but this time, it caused the girl to spread a smile on her face.
" better than I expected " She replies, and her mind trailed to her English professor, as well as the man she met in the cafe the other day. Lolita can't help but not to have a question in her head
" who's Professor Greyson by the way? " Lolita curiously asks and slips out the lollipop from her mouth
" my brothers told me about him. The professor is one of the four main teachers here at the university, the four of them are almost like the headmasters of our school, they control and hold the system. They're wealthy for sure " Her best friend replies. Lolita's eyebrow furrowed

" what do you mean there's four of them? "
" Well, there's Professor Greyson, Professor Carter, Andrew, and Ferris. You'll meet them later on, but the four of them share a friendship, they teach at the same university and that's why there are four of them " She replies, Jane Margarette has two older brothers, they graduated when she was still in high school and went to Eastview as well.
That's why she knows those things, Lolita listened and nodded her head.
The two of them begin sharing a conversation again as they eat their breakfast together. When the girls were finished, Lolita pulled out her schedule and let out a small groan when seeing that Jane won't share the same time subject
" History class " She says and noticed that Jane stopped in her tracks, she turned to Lolita and smiled
" here's history... You'll meet Professor Carter inside " The girl replied. Suddenly
Lolita can't help but not to feel slightly nervous when hearing a new teacher's name. The redhead girl hugged her friend a goodbye as Jane left and walked to her second class, Lolita faced the dark wood door before placing her hand on the job and walking in
