Aaradhya ~

Leaving this beautiful Mahal with a pleasurable memory was quite hard. The time we both spent here was the best gift to me. The birthday which I never ever expected to be celebrated, came to me as a glory to my heart.

His eyes which spoke during our intimacy and in the silence of admiration surrounded me with the familiar warmth still now. He was the truth that I wasn't ready for. His every confession bounded me with the love and happiness.

My palanquin was ready and he guided himself to his white horse. I still remember the way he was riding it the day we were supposed to enter the palace after our wedding. That was the day I started to fell for him .

The way his features change when he is in his horse make my heart flutter. I was stealing glance of him by the gap of the curtain hanging from the small window inside the palanquin.

Slowly his words kept on repeating in my mind. His Choti Maa. Why wasn't I aware of her ? No one told me about her.

Maa saa should have told me about her as she would be like her sister, so why not. Also I wasn't aware of Baba saa having a brother.

All got jumbled up in my mind and my right eye started twitching. I gulped hard as it is a sign of bad luck. Something was gonna happen bad. I again saw him and sighed. My mind was gathering with all the worst thoughts.

No nothing is gonna go bad. Everything will be alright. I repeated these words in my mind.

We reached the palace and the guards started to say aloud our presence.

Maa saa welcomed us and I touched her feet. I got a glimpse of two unknown person. I was sure that one of them was Choti Maa but didn't know about that another young man. But his attire was speaking of royals.

I was unsure but got confirmed when that young man called Rajan by Bhai saa. But Rajan ignored him.

Suddenly Rajan hold my hand and started walking towards the lady standing in the corner.

Her white saree with gold border and gold ornaments were holding a gravity but she looked scary to me. Her long slender hands with black rings of what I didn't know and deep kajal in eyes made me scared. Her sharp gaze on me was making me feel uncomfortable.

I along with Rajan touched her feet and took blessings. She didn't even smile a little.

"So the new bride didn't even have a time to welcome an elder. Wow, that's nice. She was not even in the palace when I entered. Didn't your father gave you any manners how to behave like a royal or our respected Maharaj married a maid? "

Her words were harsh and were meant to attack me. I wasn't ready for that but I understood that she isn't an easy going lady . Her malicious eyes were striking me like a devil. I didn't know her hunch didn't seem to be good for me.

"I ask for your pardon Choti Maa. I am the princess of Ginigunj and I was taught enough how to behave like a royal. I will try my best to change your mindset towards me. I am at your serve and obey. You are my elder and I should respect you. " I said with my soft voice.

"Change my mindset? You don't have to do those things. If you want to do something then make my lunch and dinner everyday. I am a picky person, so I want my food to be perfect."

"As you can see clearly that she is not a maid and my respected wife and the queen of this kingdom, she is not ready to serve you. She has other jobs and works in the whole palace other than being your cook . Also you have your personal maid . Your room is already cleaned and tell the guards if you want anything." Rajan's voice was cold and he was holding blunt attitude.
