Chapter 32 Unexpected

"Jax?" I knocked on his office door.

"Come in love."

"Jax, I'm gonna go train with the pack. Is that okay?" I said as soon as I stepped in.

"Train with the pack?" He raises an eyebrow.

"Y-yeah. "

"Why."

"Um..Why not?"

He sighed.

"Fine. But once you're not feeling well, I want you to step out."

"Absolutely."

I closed the door and do finally exhaled a deep breath I was keeping in.

Now, he won't suspect a thing.

I headed up to my room and changed into comfortable clothes.

I silently sneaked out of the pack house and took one of the many cars.

And made my way to the hospital.

*At the hospital*

"Ms Scarlett Harper?" The nurse called out.

I stood up.

"Here."

"The doctor is ready for you." She smiled.

"Thank you."

I went into the doctors office and started my examinations.

"Are you ready Ms Harper?"

"Ready. How is this gonna work?"

"I'll be putting some cold gel on your stomach and will check if the baby's healthy."

"Alright."

I laid down and looked at the X-ray screen showing my baby.

I couldn't help but tear a little seeing my little unborn baby.

"Baby's healthy. It seems to be showing off really proud. I can actually tell the gender." The doctor commended.

"Really?! But it's only been 1 month since I was pregnant!"

"Like I said, the baby is showing off proud today."

"Then, what's the gender?"

"Congratulations, you're having a..."

I clasp my hands to my mouth.

This was a shocking news.

I cried with tears of joy!

I'm finally having a real family!

Well, other than Damian and Isabelle.

But my own family.

I'm beyond excited!

And I'm sure Jax will too.

His birthday is in 3 days. I'm gonna call our pack to surprise him and as his birthday gift, well, our family. ❤
