Chapter 7

She then continued her journey of finding the best revenge dress.

First, she made her way to Gringotts Wizarding Bank to get enough money to spend. Where she withdraw 250,000 worth of galleons and converted it to Pounds from their joint account.

"May I ask why, madam? Such a large sum of money to be converted into Muggle currency. Does your husband know about this?" the Goblin commented.

The poor goblin made her more irritated and said, "ce n'est pas ton affaire.". Although their marriage was hidden from the public; few of high-ranking officials, close friends, and relatives were the ones who knew of their true relationship.

"Very well then, mademoiselle." The goblin announced his defeat.

After her transaction to the bank, she immediately apparated to the streets of London and landed on some dark corner of it. She missed the smell of the city, the crowd, and the shops. As a matter of fact, she missed everything. She deeply inhaled the smell of the city as if she will absorb its vibe, beauty, energy, and culture. As she strolled the street, she admired those women's apparels displayed in front of the establishments - those couture gowns that could make any woman look like Venus herself, the epitome of beauty. The lady entered some famous fashion houses such as Armani, Zuhair Murad, Elie Saab, and Channel to name a few, those are her favorites anyway.

The last thing that she wanted to visit is a wizarding clothing shop. She thought that witches who buy there don't know about a single thing about fashion. Those outdated Halloween robes, she always wondered why they still exist up to now. As for her husband, well... she tried to improve his fashion sense but sadly didn't succeed – at least, Merlin gave her a high patience to tolerate her Severus.

"It's no good," she said accepting her defeat with a sighed.

"What's the matter, ma'am?" the saleslady asked.

"Is that all your gowns? Is there any new arrival? I'm in a hurry, miss. I need a gown for tonight" Mariella said.

"Well, we have special gowns and they are new arrivals but I'm afraid for they are only for VIP customers only." The saleslady replied.

Anna immediately conjured a VIP membership card inside of her bag non-verbally and wandlessly. "Here, check it if it's still working." She handed the card.

The saleslady checked the validity of the card and assured, "Okay then; Miss Dandelion would please follow me."

"Sure" she replied.

The saleslady lead the way and opened the extravagant double door where all those elegant gowns were revealed.

"This is heaven," she said, taken back with astonishment.

"Surely it is miss. Many of our customers did say so. Would do me like to assist you?" the saleslady asked.

Anna nodded with determination burning in her hazel eyes. She then tried several gowns with different colors. And after several hours of searching for the perfect one.

(The Red Gown)

"Yes, this is the one that I'm looking for. This is the one that would make Severus dropped his jaw down to his knees and his eyes popped." She loudly said.

"I agree, Ma'am; with this gown, you could make even the devil sweat." The salesperson assured. "But I afraid ma'am that it comes with a high price." She added.

"Missy, do I look like Julia Roberts dressed in a hooker outfit for a 'Pretty Woman' movie?" Mariella talked back that made the poor saleslady scared.

"No, miss. I apologize please don't be mad. I'm truly sorry" The saleslady said.

"Good, name your price 'cause I'm really in a hurry now... I'm afraid." Anna said with regret in her face for she badly wanted to shop and to buy more.

"Right away, miss. Right away." Assured her. "Thank you for purchasing a gown in Miss Mystery Fashion Shop: Haute Couture dresses and gowns for all women and I hope to see you again!" The saleslady handed her the paper gown with the gown and bid her goodbye.

She left, a sudden knock in the stock room startled the employee. The worker opened the closet and revealed the renowned lady, Madam Malkin.

"So Jess, how's the business going here. Do you find it difficult?" Madam Malkin asked.

"Tis Great, Madam. In fact, I enjoy ma'am." Replied by Jess.

"Dear, just call me Malkin. You're making me too old." The madam said. "Isn't that the famous Anna Dandelion, the who bought a gown here earlier" she added.

"Yes, I believe it's her. The one and only." Confirmed by the brown-eyed employee.
