DEIDRE

I waited patiently outside my home, for Thomas, since I was early. It was ten minutes before six, the sun was already rising.

My heart beat rapidly as I waited for him.

"Deidre!" I heard the all too familiar voice. And I turned around, only to find Thomas standing a few meters away. He was wearing black shorts, sneakers and a white crew T-shirt. And I couldn't help but notice how messy his hair was. Although it was his every day look, a freaking bed-head.

"H-Hi," I stuttered, feeling nervous all of a sudden.

Thomas took a step towards me, before raising his hand, brushing his thumb to the corner of my mouth. "Stop drooling. It makes me think of not so nice things."

My body felt hot. It burned up at his touch.

"Now come on, before I seriously decide to take you to the woods and have my way with you," he ushered me.

I could only nod before I began running by his side. All throughout our run, I would often catch him staring at me. But it was not at my face, legs, none of that, but his focus would be on my breasts, keeping his eyes trained on them a couple of seconds.

Self-consciously, I folded my arms over my chest when we stopped for a second.

"Hey, can I have that?" he asked, pointing to the water bottle that I was holding.

Hesitantly, I handed it to him.

And my eyes were trained on him as he unrolled the cap before raising the bottle to his lips. I couldn't remove my eyes from him, it was as if I wanted them to stay there forever. Thomas tilted his head back slightly as he gulped down the water.

I glanced at his Adam's apple for a second, watching it bob up and down.

He kept his eyes trained on me all the while, before he handed it back. He gave me a sly smirk, as if he knew exactly what I was thinking.

I swallowed hard, wanting nothing more than to never let go of the bottle. Mostly because his lips had touched it and I wanted to savour that.

Later on when I would drink it, I wanted it to feel like his lips were on mine.

Damn, I'm so crazy, I thought.

"You want to stare a bit longer?"

His alluring voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

My head lifted up at I found him staring at me. Although my eyes flashed to his handsome body, which made me clench my thighs together.

Thomas tilted his head to the side, giving a smug look. "Deidre."

I did not understand how he did that. How he could simply say my name so deeply and I would swoon over him.

I shook my head before continuing to run, only for him to catch up soon enough. "You do know that you don't have to do this. You don't have to go running with me. I can be alone perfectly fine."

"Nonsense." Then he added, "But can't you see that I want to spend time with you? I want to do this, Deidre."

I could only roll my eyes at his words. And the rest of the run was quiet. No words spoken between us.

When we finally reached my home, he kissed my cheek and left.

And I was completely flustered.

My cheeks were already burning as I walked in the halls, towards my class. The memories of the morning flashed in my mind. And I couldn't help but smile.
