It's been 5 months since i started my job as a pediatric nurse. I am getting used to the nursing part of the job. The hard part for me now is the emotional aspect: I keep seeing child abuse cases and it's messing with my head. It's hard for me to not cry/breakdown about these situations and it's really impacting my emotional health outside of work. I definitely need to find a better way to cope with that.
