"Hmmmm....I don't know, I don't normally wear tie dye because it gives off hippy vibes y'know?"
You almost groaned.
Of course knowing your best friend as well as you did-
You knew this was normal for him-
Two hours looking for clothes wasn't a big deal for him.
He could be pretty high maintenance at times.
Biting your lip you forced yourself to avert your gaze as he lifted his shirt slightly to feel the material, revealing his toned stomach.
Damn....
You weren't sure how you managed.
If you were being honest with yourself you'd fallen madly in love with this- high maintenance man a long time ago.
But you'd never admit it out loud.
I mean-
He was obviously straight.
And he was your Bestfriend.
If you confessed and he rejected you your friendship would never be the same.
You'd met the man years ago, at first you were only one of his students.
Now you were pretty much the assistant instructor at the Shin shin kai dojo.
His voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Maybe I should-"
"Actually all you ever wear are tshirts.... Maybe you could try something else?"
You held up a shirt you'd found earlier and thought he should try.
A turquoise/green ombre shirt with short sleeves that buttoned up.
"Hmm I've never been much of a green person-"
"-but green looks really good on people with black hair."
You interjected.
"Huh. Really? Well I've never tried it but why not?"
Katsumi took the shirt from you, once again disappearing into the dressing room.
You sighed, trying to ignore the twang you felt in your chest whenever he smiled at you.
The door opened again.
Your mouth went dry.
"Huh. You were right. It looks pretty good, wouldn't you say?"
Nodding your head, you glanced in the general direction of the exit.
