As any other queer woman I love seeing any queer representation on screen. I'm desperate for any bit of sapphic relationships I find.

This show is relatively new and focuses on the lives of Ginny and her mother Georgia.
Although Maxine, Ginny's lesbian best friend gets enough screen time. I don't know what's more relatable about her, her crush on Ginny's MILF mother or her desperate want for a girlfriend.
The only thing I didn't like was the sexist remark towards Taylor Swift. For a show which was supposed to be empowering to women, that part was disappointing.
Max and Sophie's relationship has very cute and fluffy moments throughout the season and Sophie is seen to be very understanding and patient.
Though unfortunately they do not end up together in this season but it was understandable.
It has not yet been renewed for S2 but mostly it will be as it is fairly popular.
