one week later

You go to see your father in his lab.

Y/n- Dad ?
He turns around and looks at you

T- What's up Honey ?

Y/n- Wonder what's going on with Wanda, she didn't look great this week, she seemed sad...

T- Oh yeah I forgot to tell you...
He invites you to sit on the small sofa next to his desk, he sits next to you.

T- Tomorrow is the day her twin brother, Pietro... passed away last year, when we fought against Ultron. Nat was supposed to bring her to the cemetery tomorrow but we have a mission so I would bring her myself the day after tomorrow.

Y/n- Wow... I'm going to go talk to her I think she needs it and she's been avoiding us with Nat almost all week

T- Ok but be careful, she is very sensitive but she doesn't like it when someone sees her sad...

You nod and head to Wanda's room.
When you arrive you notice that the door is open, you open it slightly and you see Wanda lying on her belly in the bed

W- What are you doing here ?
She looks at you with tired eyes

Y/n- Hey umh... my dad just told me about... Pietro
She turns her head the other way so you can't see her but she sobs lightly.
You approach the bed slowly and you sit next to her.
She still don't look at you, you put your hand on her back and you stroke it softly

Y/n- You can talk to me you know ?
She turns her head and looks at you with slightly wet eyes

W- Nat were supposed to bring me to the cemetery...

Y/n- I know
You keep stroking her back

W- But she can't
She laughs ironically before a few tears falls on her cheeks
She wipes her cheeks with the sleeves of her oversized sweater and tries not to cry

W- You know... I'm not sure I want to go to the cemetery anymore...

Y/n- I think you should

W- But Tony don't want me to go alone...
She closes her eyes

Y/n- You know what ? I will take you there !
She gets up and stands in front of you, she wipes her cheeks again and looks at you with a slight smile

W- You will ?

Y/n- I will, I promise, I'll take you there in my beautiful rich car
You both laugh lightly
She looks you straight in the eyes.

After a few seconds which seem minutes, Wanda breaks the silence

W- Thank you, Y/n
You smile

Y/n- It's okay, it's normal, I'm sure Nat really wanted to take you there

W- She wanted it, but the world needs help...

You lie on the bed and you open your arms wide

Y/n- Come here
You tell her smiling

She gives a cute little smile and snuggles up to you, her arms around your waist and her head on your chest, she listens to your heartbeat.

The next day

You get in the car with Wanda
She hasn't said a word all day and you noticed that this night she didn't sleep

Y/n- Let's go
You start the car but Tony comes to the car, out of breath

T- Wait wait ! You can't
You sigh angry and you look at Tony through your window

Y/n- Of course I can !
You look at him with your eyes wide open to tell him to leave as Wanda watches you

T- No, there are enemies everywhere, I don't want you to be hurt !

Y/n- Dad ! I have to take her there !

T- No way ! I'm so sorry Wanda, we will go tomorrow i'm sor-
She don't let him finish, she get out of the car and run down the road with all her strength, crying, heading towards the cemetery

Y/n- Wanda no !
You open the door pushing Tony and you start running towards her, you also run with all your strength to catch up with her, but she suddenly starts to fly and go much faster.

Half an hour later

You finally arrive at the cemetery, with excruciating pain in your legs and a sore throat.
You see Wanda in front of her brother's grave
You fall on your knees behind her and you try to catch your breath

Y/n- Wan- Wanda... I- I don't wanted to- to leave you alone here...
She turns to you with tears in her eyes and sits down in front of you

A few minutes later

She stops crying and sits down in front of you.

Y/n- Did coming here make you feel a little better ?
She lifts her face to you and looks at you angry

W- I don't even... want to be here... most the time ! I just- I come here because usually it doesn't make me feel better but sometimes it does... but... you know what ?!

Y/n- Wanda...

W- Nothing makes me feel better enough !!

Y/n- Wanda... I'm sorry...
You try to take her in your arms but she struggles

Y/n- Wanda... Wanda stop-

You finally succeeded by hugging her and she starts to cry again

Y/n- Shhh... I'm here, it's okay, you can cry it's okay...
She finally stops struggling and cries in your arms.

One hour later

Your back against a tree trunk, Wanda is on your chest listening to your heartbeat. She stopped crying about 40 minutes ago and started to fall asleep because she was tired and sad.

Y/n- Speak less loudly, she is asleep...
