Tyler's POV

Sunday Afternoon

4:00PM

I was so hesitant to walk in the house and after a fun day I didn't want to ruin it by arguing with them. I walked in and Taylor and Daniel were both sitting at the dining room table, they had a whole heap of papers there, I walked over and they just laugh at me; I forgot I was still in my onesie.

"It was family day at the Clarkes and it was so much fun, we all were wearing pjs and played games and ate so much food it was so fun!" I say

"That's good you were having fun" Daniel said

"Who was all there?" Taylor asked

"Uh their parents, Ash, Tate obviously, Zach, Sam, Jake, Tom, Grayson and Ethan" I reply

"The boys went? Thats good" She says

"Yeah" I smiled "So what are you guys doing?"

"Yeah this is all Mum and Dad's uh will" Taylor says

"Oh right" I sigh and sit next to them

"So did you read any of this at all?" Daniel asked

"Nope, I already knew nothing was being left to me" I say

"Oh and how do you know that" Taylor scoffed

"They told me" I reply

"Why would they leave you out?" Daniel asked

"Because they never wanted me in the first place and I'm the biggest disappointment, I'm nothing like them and I had so much potential and I'm nothing like Taylor and never will be" I reply

They looked shock and are just staring at each other.

"That's nothing, they 'lost' my birth certificate so I couldn't get a license then went behind my back and had a passport and everything made for me so that I wouldn't have to see my birth certificate for whatever reason" I say "I told you that hated me, they were horrible and hated me, they didn't leave me shit"

"Don't say that, they did love you, I know they did, they told me all the time" Taylor says

"They never once told me, I heard I love you more from my best friends and you guys rather then my own parents" I say

"Well they did leave you things" She said

"Oh yeah, a broken vase, some chewing gym" I laughed

"They left you the journal Mum had when she was pregnant with you, she left you all the photos and her favourite crystals" She says

"Oh yeah what did you get?" I ask

"We don't need to get into this do we" She asks

"You got the house, you got every valuable thing inside the house, you got their cars Taylor you clearly got everything that meant anything to them. I got the things that I would've got if I moved out of home" I said

"It's not my fault" She sighed

"Not mine either" I said then add " I already looked through the photos and theres none of me and them just saying, you were in every single photo and even you Daniel how the fuck can you guys be in my baby/family photos and my own parents who hated me couldn't"

"Tyler don't get upset" Daniel says coming over to hug me, I pushed his arm away

"No! You guys don't get it, you've clearly never had anyone hate your guts especially the people who are suppose to be your parents" I yelled

"Tyler cut it out!" Daniel yelled back "It's always poor me poor me and you don't even fucking realise I have been with you and stuck up for you every time, I get that you've had a shit time but lets not forget about the people that are here for you now!"

"Daniel" Taylor yelled

"No he's right" I sigh

"I know" He says

"How come your looking though that stuff anyway" I ask

"The lawyers want us to look though and they are sorting everything to sell off the house" She says

"Be a good pay for you" I reply

"Tyler for gods sake cut it out please, the money is going to your tuition and college funds and the rest is going to be able to pay off this house so we can live here with no worries" She says

"I thought mum and dad had money for my 3 years tuition" I say

"No they didn't, I told you that to get your ass over here to be with us" She says

"Why are you fighting so much for me you've heard it from them I'm not special" I ask

"Shut up you are, you seriously need to stop putting yourself down" Daniel says

"Well it's true, I've been here like 2 weeks and caused how much drama, I've fought with you guys so much I don't even know why you would want me here" I said

"Because we love and care about you and you have way too much potential to be put in a group home to go unnoticed and be ruined by the system" Taylor says

"Well since we are already in it, theres a video of me and Jake jumping off the balcony naked into the pool last night" I say

"What!" Daniel screamed

"I know I saw I wasn't going to bring it up" Taylor said

"You knew and you didn't tell me!" Daniel yelled

"Well you clearly don't tell me everything" She says

"It was fun" I said

"It looked like you were having fun, your lucky that you couldn't really see bits and I only knew it was you because of your scar" Taylor says

"Why are we not mad about this?" Daniel asked

"Because this is tame and I could see she was happy and having fun" She said

"Ok alright so we are letting her away with this just once?" He asked Taylor

"Just this once" She says and hugs me, we have a three way hug before we all pull away

I told them all about my day and how much fun it was and they were telling me about things I didn't know when I was little. Turns out my parents did actually love me but mum had prenatal depression which clearly had lasted until she died and dad had anger issues and couldn't deal with the drama or crying all the time so they weren't really a match made in heaven. We decided to go bowling after dinner and Taylor being Taylor thought that it was just be super duper fun to invite Cameron and her brothers to come with, all I had to do was give Dan a look and he suggested that it just be us having some family time. It was actually really fun and it was the perfect way to end the day.
