hi! i just wanted to come on here and give a few disclaimers:
1. i do not treat time as a real thing because time is in fact just a social construct and it's not real anyway. that being said, the timeline of the band, their popularity status, the album releases, and all of that will not always align with what it is in real life.
2. these characters that i am writing are in no way, shape, or form connected to the actual boygenius boys. i am simply using names and faces of people you already know so i can spend less time having to build a character.
3. random musicians will be connected throughout this story, and i will make it known in the story how popular they are, but once again it may not line up with real life (since this story is not real life, it's where i go to get out of real life for a little bit)
4. i will be honest i cannot promise this is going to be great or even good, i just wanted to get my thoughts on paper and thinking about an alternate reality is fun sometimes. apologies in advance
5. i have never been where the story is set. i am using google maps to try to incorporate some real places, but obviously for story sake i am having to make up a handful of places. if you are from ketchum, my apologies. but lowkey i'm making your home a little more exciting so you can't actually be too mad at me
6. i'm going to reiterate yet again that THESE VERSIONS OF PHOEBE, JULIEN, AND LUCY ARE NOT REAL. I AM MAKING THEIR ACTIONS UP AND I HAVE NEVER MET THEM SO IT IS SIMPLY GUESS AND IMAGINATION WORK. THEY ARE NOT AT ALL CONNECTED IN ANY WAY TO THE REAL LIFE PHOEBE BRIDGERS, LUCY DACUS, AND JULIEN BAKER. thank you <3
