chapter sixteen

Tina, Chloé, and Magnolia slept through the rest of the day. It wasn't until eleven thirty a.m. the next morning when Chloé woke up. She looked around for her phone before finding it plugged into the wall and placed on the floor.

Chloé sighed in relief, seeing that her battery was fully charged. She was gonna get up and take a shower but Tina's arms were wrapped around her middle.

"Babe, I'm gonna go and take a shower, you gotta get up," Chloé whispered, poking her girlfriend.

Tina groaned, pulling Chloé even closer to her, and nuzzling her face into her arm.
"The concert starts at six, why do you have to get up when you could stay here and cuddle?"

"Five more minutes, I'm setting a timer," Chloé gave in, she opened the clock app on her phone and set a timer for five minutes. Chloé was aware that her girlfriend wasn't normally clingy like that so it made her give in quicker than usual.

"WAKE UP! WAKE UP! WAKE UP!" Chloé's screaming alarm successfully woke everyone up. Chloé and Tina groaned because they're used to the wake-up call but it made Magnolia sit up so fast.

"Why is that your damn alarm sound?" she ran her fingers through her curly hair that she planned to straighten for the show.

"It works, we're all up," Chloé threw the comforter off of her body and started grabbing things for her shower.

"What time is it?" Tina asked, trying to find her phone.

"Eleven thirty-five a.m," Chloé responded before going into the bathroom.
"Your phone is plugged in, laying on the ground," Magnolia informed her friend.
