So you walked out of the mall happily and drove him back to yours. On the way home, Eric seemed a lot more talkative. He told you today had been the best already and he was so excited to see how tonight would be, and he knows he's not going to want to leave..and you realized how attached, he had become.

--

Once you got back to your apartment, you gave him a mediocre tour of the place. Thankfully, you had time to clean up before you met him this morning. He said he really liked it and you could tell he meant it by how curious he seemed to be. He looked at all the pictures on the walls as well as the books on the shelves.

You took him to the guest room and he put his book bag in the plain office chair. The room had a full bed, an empty desk in front of a window, accompanied by the chair, and a bedside table with a lamp and a plant.

You two watched movies in the living room until around five, when you got hungry. You tried to ignore it but your stomach made the loudest sound and it caught Eric's attention. He laughed and you spoke, embarrassed. "That was my stomach." As you stood up to get something to eat, Eric had an idea. "Can I cook?" He asked. You asked if he was sure, because he was supposed to be your guest, and you could happily cook something or order in. He insisted and you agreed. "What do you like?" He asked. "Surprise me." You replied.

About an hour later, you were allowed back into your own kitchen to see what he had made for you both. "Ta-daa!" He said as he removed his hands from over your eyes, walking out from behind you. He made you spaghetti, your favorite.

"My favorite." "Your favorite."  You said in unison.

"Right?" He asked. "Raquel said it would be cute..." You smiled and hugged him. "That was cute, thank you." You said. "You're welcome, Beautiful Lei." He said satirically, with a wink. While you ate, he told you more about how him and Raquel planned this little surprise. You weren't very surprised. Actually you would've been more surprised if Raquel knew a boy was coming over and she didn't do anything to try and set you up with him. You started to believe what she was telling you on the way to his concert. Regardless of the sneaking suspicion that you might have a secret admirer, and you might be having dinner with him right now, the spaghetti was actually pretty good. Chef Eric.
