Chapter 23 - Except Me

"Hello" I smiled greeting Zac's grandmother

"Hello.. Sorry but who are you?" She asked but in a really polite tone

"Her name is Cailey nana. She's my girlfriend" Zac said putting his arm around my shoulder

"Girlfriend? Really?" Her eyes widen and she smiled

"Yes girlfriend nana"

"I'm Cailey , Mrs. Malvon" I smiled and shook her hand. She hold my hand tightly and patted it

"You're so beautiful , I can't believe my playboy grandson now has a girlfriend" She's happy , I chuckled

"Of course I will have a girlfriend nana"

"You're really good at picking , she's beautiful and I like her already" She looked at me smiling widely. Suddenly she pulled me to the living room and asked me to sit down

"So tell me about yourself"

"Mother.." Zac's dad said and I chuckled

"It's okay" I smiled

"What do you want to know Mrs. Malvon?" I asked

"What is your job? Your age? Your parents?" She asked

"Nana.. you're too much" Zac said and I glared at him and urned back to his grandmother smiling

"I'm a writer Mrs. Malvon. I work at Tenderious Magazine. I'm 23 years old and my parents are Sky Locason and Janet Stanmore Mrs. Malvon" I said and she looked at me a couple of times

"Wait?! What? You're Sky's daughter?"

"Yes mom , she's Sky's daughter" Cross said

"When is the wedding?" She suddenly asked and looked at her blankly

"I won't happen soon" Zac said and I nodded

"Why not?"

"We just date nana" Zac sat beside me and looked at his grandmother. I nodded agreeing to Zac's statement

"Tomorrow is my birthday.. I want to make a wish about you Zac" She pointed her finger to her grandson

"Why me?"

"Because you're my one and only grandson and I want you to be happy"

"Mom.. I bet they're hungry , let's feed them first" Zac's dad said

"Right.. I hope you like lobster Cailey" She said standing up from the chair pulling me with her again

"Yes I like it"

"Nana don't drag her everywhere" Zac said and I chuckled

"Sit here beside me" She patted the spot beside her and there's a really big family picture at the dining room. It must be Zac's granddad. Oh there's little Zac

"Isn't he cute?" Erna asked and I looked at the big Zac now and then turned to the little Zac

"Yes.. He's so cute" I said

"Thanks babe" Zac said and I turned to him

"He's just like my husband Sergio , so charming , playboy and has a great heart. Everytime I look at this kid , it makes me miss him"

"Oh don't be sad again nana , let's just eat" Zac said and she smiled to me

"He might a little bit reckless but please teach him a lesson if he hurts you"

"Nana.. I'm your grandson not her" Zac said in a warning tone and I nodded

"Let's eat" She said and I sat beside her

We talked about a lot of things while eating our lunch. Zac's grandmother is really kind and easy going. She's also ao funny. I found out that her husband passed away 5 years ago because of heart attack. She was broken hearted so bad until she sicked too.

Zac's grandmother needed a nap for 1-2 hours since she's already old and need to rest a lot so Zac decided to take me to the beach. He's driving there now..

"Sorry about my grandma , she's too much sometimes"

"Hey it's fine , I know that feeling too" I said and smiled to him. He took my hand and hold it with one hand. He pulled my hand and kissed the back of it

"I'm really happy that she likes you , she always said that she had a feeling about every new person that come to her" Zac said and I chuckled

"Me too , I'm nervous earlier but not anymore"

"Thankyou" He suddenly said

"For what?"

"Coming here with me and met my grandma and just being here with me.. Thankyou" He said holding my hand tightly

"I'm your girlfriend , of course I will come with you"

"I love it when you say that"

"Zac" I called

"Hmm?"

"Last night my dad asked me to go to London with him and the Lemiere" I said , Aiden can't go so I'm the one that has to go. I need to help my dad once in a while. He needs me and I think I will resign from my work to help my dad and my brother

"Which Lemiere?" Zac asked

"Matthew and Dylan and their father of course" I said

"Don't talk to him , give a distance , don't look at him and-"

"Zac.. you're being so jealous" I said cutting him

"Of course I am , he might be my cousin but still.." He looked at me with a serious face and I chuckled

"There's nothing going on between us. Don't worry , trust me"

"Well it's a good thing that you didn't end up with him cause you're mine" He kissed the back of my hand again

"I'm yours"

"I will nev- what? What did you say?" He asked looking at me disbelief

"I said I'm yours"

"Since when you're so agreeable?"

"Is that even a word? Agreeable?" I laughed and he still looked at me with a serious face

"Zac listen you're my boyfriend so it means your relationship with me is more than when I'm with Matthew. We both already done years ago so we won't get back together or things like that.. don't worry and no need to be jealous" I said

"I'm so lucky to have you as my girlfriend"

"Yeah you are one lucky man Zac Malvon" I said winked at him

"Even now you're still making me crazy with that eyes and that beautiful face" He smiled

"Good , so you won't be able look at someone else except me"

"You're weird today but I like this side of you.. Can't wait to get there cause I want to kiss you so bad right now"
