I gulped nervously and kept looking at the mirror in the lift telling myself that I'll be okay. I walked out from the lift and walked to his office. I knocked a few times and I heard he said 'come in'

I opened the door slowly and Sky Locason already looking at me suspiciously. I smiled awkwardly

"Good Afternoon sir" I greeted and he stood up from his chair walking to me

"What brings you here Zac?" He asked

"Just want to talk to you about something" I said and he gestured me to sit down on the sofa

"What is it about?" Sky asked

"Mr. Locason , I really love your daughter. She's the best thing that ever happen to me. I can't live without her sir" I said slowly and he nodded

"I came here to ask you a permission , I want to ask you officially. I want to marry her sir and I want your blessing first since you're the most important person in her life" I said slowly and he looked at me intensely

"You only dated for almost 7 months and you already want to take a next step?" He asked

"Yes sir" I said

"Why are you so sure? I know your backgrounds Zac , I know how you used to be a playboy" He asked and I nodded understand. If I have a daughter , he will pass me like this too so I understand his position a lot

"I used to sir because I thought I'm still young and can be reckless sometimes but when I met Cailey I changed. She turned me into someone better and she always there for me" I said

"You know that you can't be a racer forever right? You have make money for your future. How about that?" He asked

"I will continue my dad's business as soon as I'm done with my racing sir" I'm damn shaking right now

"You know Zac , I had a rough past and you sure know it right?" He asked and I nodded

"We had a really rough past before we got our kids and settle down with our family. The kids are my biggest happinest Zac and Cailey is the most precious one" He said and I nodded

"I never thought I will be handing her to someone else this fast but it's quite sad when you came here and ask for my permission before you ask her" He smiled and I felt a little bit relieve

"When are you planning to propose her?" Suddenly Sky asked

"I have a big race next week sir , I will win that race and propose her" I said

"You sure you will win?"

"Yes sir , I will win for her even after that I have to go to Dubai for about 4 months to get in traning for the world race" I said and he nodded

"Don't take her with you" He said

"No sir , I won't. I know you both need to spend time more here. I won't ask her to come with me sir" I said and he nodded

"Yoo dad.. I want to you ask you-" Aiden stopped when he saw me in his dad's office

"Hey Aiden"

"What's up Zac?" He smiled to me and sat beside his dad

"Good"

"So what brings you here?" He asked me and then turned to his dad

"Asking your dad's permission to marry Cailey" I said and his jaw fell to out

"Did you give him?" Aiden asked

"You know this is a lifetime thing right Zac?" Sky asked me

"Yes sir I know. I know that she's the one. I will make her happy , I promise with my life. I can't live without her and I don't want any other girl anymore. She's just right for me sir.. I don't want to ask her without your permission sir becaude I know it will make her sad and maybe you won't give us our blessing so I'm here to ask you first" I said and he nodded

"You know that she's annoying sometimes right?" Aiden asked and I chuckled

"She sleep walking sometimes" Aiden said again and I nodded laughing

"Yes you can marry her" Suddenly Sky said and my eyes widen. I can't help but be so happy

"Really sir?"

"Yes.. but you know when you hurt her. We both will kill you into pieces right?" He asked pointing at himself and Aiden. Aiden nodded

"Yes sir , I know that so well"

"I will meet Mrs. Locason soon sir , I will ask her permission too" I added and he smiled. He stood up and I quickly stood up too. He walked to me and patted my shoulder

"You can marry her and you have my permission boy. Make sure you take care of her. She's my one and only jewel" Sky said and I smiled

"I will sir"

"You can go" He said

"Now what do you need boy?" He turned to his son

"Thankyou sir , thankyou so much" I said once again and he nodded. I walked to the door

"Thankyou once again sir , bye Aiden!" I said

"Yes! Bye Zac"

I walked out with a big smile on my face. I never thought he will give me the permission this fast. I walked to the lift and can't stop smiling. My phone rings and it's Cailey

"Hello beautiful" I answered

"Zac , I just arrived at starbucks now. Where are you?" I can't believe this girl is going to be my wife soon

"I'll be there at 5 babe"

"Okay.. where are you anyway?" I can't tell her that I just met her dad right?

"Just got out from my house , going there babe"

"Okay.. Come here quick. I miss you" She said

"Love you Cailey"

"Huh?"

"I love you so much Cailey" I said

"What's with you saying this suddenly?" She chuckled

"I want to say it to you" I said

"Love you too Zac! Quickly come here!" She ended the call and I laughed
