Chapter 3: Accidents

Mauli finally came out of the bathroom and Kunal ran inside. Mauli laughed.

She goes to the mirror and smiles seeing herself. She was wearing a white flowy cotton dress.

While Kunal was in the bathroom, she decided to go out for some time.

"Kunal, Listen," Mauli shouted.

"Yeah?," Kunal asked.

"I will be going out for some time," Mauli said and went away.

"Where are you going?," Kunal asked but there was no answer.

Nandini was still sleeping so Rajdeep decided to not disturb her. He was hoping that today, he would get to go out with her.

It was a very dark night with full moon.  A "romantic" night if you asked his parents.

He also went away from his room.

Mauli smiles while sitting in a bench. There were flowers all over the place making the air smell fresh while the moon was just a cherry on top.

She got her phone, put her headphones on and started to listen to songs.

Rajdeep walked around the park. There were flowers everywhere and the moon was shining. It would have been an enjoyable scene if there was someone to enjoy it with.

He was walking when he noticed a girl sitting in a bench. Her back was facing him so he couldn't see her.

Rajdeep walked towards her and stopped right behind her. He expected her to scream or he scared but she didn't. He saw that it was because she had headphones on.

He still didn't see her face clearly.

Mauli opened her eyes when the best part of the song comes.

She feels a weird sensation at her back. Like someone was staring at her.

When that feeling gets stronger, she stands up and looks back. Mauli gets surprised seeing the guy from airport looking at her.

Except this time, his stare didn't seem as scary.

Kunal checked his watch, it had already been 30 minutes and she hadn't come back yet.

Let me wait for some more time, Kunal thought.

He started to drink the juice that was kept on the table.

Ok no, she has been gone for a long time.

He takes his juice with him and goes outside the room.

There he crashes with someone and the juice drops on the persons shirt.

Kunal looks at the girl who was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. He got mesmerized.

"Sorry, sweatheart," Kunal says, awestruck. Nandini looks at him.  Kunal realizes what he sad and mentally slaps himself.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to do that. It was by an accident," he said. Nandini smiles at him and tries to leave but Kunal stops her.

"Can I know your name?," Kunal asked hopefully.

" Mrs. Nandini Rajdeep Thakur," Nandini says coldly. Kunal's smile disappears. He goes away from there.

Nandini laughs for sometime.

Now where is Rajdeep?, she thought and started looking for him.

Mauli stares at Rajdeep. He started to step back when suddenly he tripped and fell down.

He got up and saw that his whole pants was covered with dirt and mud. When he looked up, he saw that the girl was trying to hold her laughter.

"Whats so funny?" Rajdeep came back to his cold mood and gave his cold voice. The humor in the air disappeared and Mauli got scared again.

"Mauli," Kunal shouted. Mauli looked at Kunal as he came running towards her. He gave her a tight hug.

So this girls name is Mauli, Rajdeep thought.

"I am so happy you are okay. I thought you died," Kunal looked up to see A guy staring at him.

"What? A husband can't hug his wife?" Kunal asked. The guy looked down.

"Rajdeepji," Nandini shouted.

Rajdeep, Mauli thought. His name should be Ravan.

Nandini walks towards them.

"Rajdeepji, I am so sorry I fell asleep. I was just so tired and didn't notice when you went away," Nandini says. Kunal got shocked seeing the girl there. Nandini too was shocked.

Shameless, disgusting. Nandini used those words to describe him. He already has a wife and he was trying to flirt with me, she thought.

"Let's go, Kunal," Mauli said. She dragged Kunal with her back to the hotel.

Nandini and Rajdeep also go to the room.

"Who was that girl?" Nandini asked Rajdeep once they reached there room.

"No one," Rajdeep answered and layed down on the bed. Nandini sighed before turning the light off.

"Tell me. Was that guy teasing you," Kunal asked Mauli.

"No but he is very creepy," Mauli said.

"He was right behind me when I looked behind me," Mauli said.

"Maybe that guy is following you," Kunal assumed.

"Why would he follow him? Did you see him. He is like a ravan type of ram," Mauli said.

"What?" Kunal asked confused.

"Stupid" Mauli said slapping her head.
