Chapter 4: Beach

Mauli woke up with the sun rays touching her face. She got up and stretched a little before opening her eyes.

She looks at Kunal who put the pillow over his eyes.

"Shut the window." He said. "I wanna sleep."

But of course why would Mauli listen to Kunal.

Instead of closing the window, she got put a loud music on her phone and went to the bathroom.

Kunal groaned while Mauli smiled.

Rajdeep was the first to wake up. He looks at Nandini who was w sleeping on the bed.

In their house, they have 2 beds in their room. Well one is a sofa that can be converted into a bed.

Usually Nandini would sleep their because she says that "it's your bed, you sleep on it". And I think it's our bed we sleep on it.

Rajdeep gets up and orders food in their room. It was a sandwich and orange juice.

We both don't like to eat heavy breakfast.

Mauli gets out of the shower and sits on the room bored, not knowing what to do.

Kunal was still sleeping and she was sure he would sleep for another 2 hours .

What could she possibly do 8 in the morning.

She could go walk outside the garden. Boring.

Go shopping. But shop for what?

Go to a beach? Yes. Go to a beach. That's it. A good way to relax. She searches on her phone the closest beach.

The beach was just a few minutes away. Not bad.

She takes a paper towel and writes in their,

"Going to the calangute beach," And she leaves that place.

Rajdeep gets a call from his secretary.

"Sir, there is some problem in the office,"'

Rajdeep sighed. He was worried about that.

"Mr. Malhotra wants you to be there for the presentation. He finds it very disrespectful that you were not there," Priya says over the phone.

"So he wants me to fly back there right now?" Rajdeep asks.

"No, he just wants you to be with us through video call. But I am sure you might be a little busy, I'll just..."

"No, has the meeting started?"

"No sir." Priya answered.

"Then tell Mr. Malhotra that I am rescheduling the meeting to tomorrow at 5'clock pm," Rajdeep tells Priya to do.

"Sure sir," Priya cuts the call.

Rajdeep already had some problems to deal with even though it has only been 2 days. He can just imagine how much more problems he will have eight the 1 week he will be spending here.

Nandini wakes up just then but Rajdeep didn't notice.

He goes outside the room with a frustrated look making Nandini wonder what must have caused him to get frustrated.

She freshens up wearing a white saree. She didnt feel western today. Plus the white saree looked really good on her.

Nandini called Rajdeep hundred of times but he wouldn't answer her calls. This made her nervous.

Was he okay?

Rajdeep walks around the beach where he landed on after walking anywhere he could find.

He wanted to live this 1 week vacation freely and not stress about anything but he was wrong.

There were more problems coming on. Which may or may not be solved.

As he walked on the beach, girls gawked at him like was a treat. Rajdeep avoids them and keeps walking on.

He was and will only remain for Nandini. Until she herself tells him that he is not for her.

Tired of walking, Rajdeep finds a seat and takes a nap.

Mauli stares at the guy next to her who was napping.

It was the airport guy- What was his name again? It started with an r- and the park guy. What was he doing here?

Is Kunal right? Is he following me? Mauli started gettin the craziest ideas in her head.

What if he kidnaps me? What if he is a Mafia? A criminal?

Mauli pretends like she is sleeping when he opens his eyes.

Rajdeep starts to walk again and Mauli decides to follow him.

She had to get all of this cleared up.

So she followed him from the beach to the hotel.

He is in the same hotel as me???!!!!!

Now Mauli was sure he was following her. This stalker. How could I be so stu.....

"Done following me?" Rajdeep asks turning around.
