My Own Type

A quote that changed
A portion
Of my perspective
On life is as follows:

"You are still beautiful. You just might not be your type."

Now every time
I dislike
A part of my body
Or I think of someone
Or myself
As ugly
Flawed
Imperfect
I remember
That I may not like that
But someone else does
Someone else will
At least to someone
I am beautiful
I may not always be
My own type
And I may not always
Find myself beautiful
But someone out there
Always will
There are people

On the streets
Who will stop when they see me 
And gasp
And gape
At how beautiful they may
Think me to be
Just like I do when I
Pass by some strangers

You are never ugly
Never
There is not an ugly
Human being
In existence
Perhaps
You are not your own
"Type"
Your own standard
Of what is beautiful
But you are still beautiful
Without question
And without a doubt
You are exceptionally
Beautiful to some
