*Indigo

I woke up to music playing in my ear. I turned to the side, cut the music off and turned to where Mari was. She was gone and I raised up. I heard the toilet flush and she came out with a tank top on and some sweats. She looked up at me then smiled.

"How you sleep??" She asked sitting on the bed beside me

"Great actually..." I said looking at her

"You gotta get up cuz I need to change the sheets..." she said looking at me

"You the one woke me up again to fuck. You did it not me..." I said looking at her

"It came outta you not me..." she said

"But you made it come outta me..." I said making her laugh

"Whatever, go get in the shower so I can change this sheets..." she said

I got up, got some clothes and went to hop in the shower. I was in there for like 45 minutes before I got out. Once I got out, I dried off, moisturized then put my clothes on. I brushed  my teeth, I left out the bathroom and Mari was laying on her back on her phone. I got in the bed and slid under her arms.

"What you doing??" I asked looking at her phone

"Nothing looking through snaps..." she said going through people snaps

After she got through, she put her phone down and looked at me.

"Skye called me this morning..." She said looking at me

"What for??" I asked

"Nothing she just needed to talk. I told her whenever she need to talk, she can call
me..." she said and I nodded

I laid beside her, flipped on my stomach and looked at her

"What??" She asked looking at me

"You know I heard you and Skye's conversation yesterday. I know Grant had something to do with my mom's death..." I said still looking at her

"Indigo we don't know for sure..." she said

"Who else did it Mari? Skye said she had a gut feeling he did it. Also she said that mom said, "if anything happen to me Grant did it." What that tell you Mari? He did it..." I said

"Look I just don't what you to go out and do something you'll regret later..." she said looking at me

"What that supposed to mean??" I asked

"You know what that mean..." she said

"Just a few weeks ago you wanted me to kill him now you telling me you don't want me to..." I said sitting up

"Indigo I'm not saying that. What I'm saying is wait until after everything is over. You need a plan. You just can't go up and say you going to kill him without getting hurt or something. You need a plan Indigo. I'm not trying to have something happen to you..." She said grabbing my hand

I snatched my hand from her.

"Why are you always say that? What if something does happen to me??" I asked looking at her

"Indigo don't say that..." she said looking at me

"So what? If something happen to me oh well. At least I was able to get him for all the fucked up shit he has done to me..." I said standing

"Look Baby, I'm with you a 100 percent. Can you just want until after everything is over??" She said standing in front of me

"FOR WHAT??" I yelled at her
"SO ANOTHER MUTHERFUCKER CAN END UP DEAD. I CAN'T SIT BACK AND LET HIM KEEP DOING THIS SHIT..." I yelled

"And I don't expect you to, just calm
down..." she said walking up to me

The door opened then Aaliyah and T walked in.

"What's going on??" T asked looking at us

"I overheard Skye and Mari's conversation yesterday. Skye told her that Grant killed my mom. I'm bout ready to go find this nigga and kill him. Just a few weeks ago she want us to kill him now it's wait..." I said looking at T

"Until she at least have a plan. T, you know she can't go there without a plan she could get seriously hurt..." Mari said to T

T looked at me

"Indigo I'm with Mari on this. You need a plan before you get yourself hurt..." T said to me

"So what, who cares if I get hurt??" I asked

"ME!!" Mari yelled making us look at her
"I CARE INDIGO. IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU WHAT WILL I DO? WHAT THE FUCK WILL I DO? NO ONE WILL UNDERSTAND WHAT I'LL WILL GO THROUGH IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU!!" She said as tears fell down her face
"But do what you want..." she said crying walking pass me

I grabbed her but she snatched away from me and went out the door. Aaliyah left out and went behind her. I turned around, sat on the bed and let out a loud sigh. I was sitting down with my head in my hands. I felt T sit beside me.

"Look Indigo, she isn't trying to stop you from doing this. She wants you to take the safe route so nothing can happen to you. Indigo Mari loves you, no fuck that Mari is in love with you. If something happens to you she will lose her shit. She would feel like she's lost everything. When you go into that car accident Mari couldn't think straight, she didn't sleep for days. You may not know it but when you didn't remember her, she used to cry every night. She'll call in the middle of the night and just break down. Indigo don't go do something crazy and put her through all that hurt. I know your hurting. I know you want to kill him for all the shit he's done to you and what he's done to your mom but calm down and relax. Listen to Mari cuz she's telling you right. Just don't go out doing shit, get a plan, make sure it's stable then do what you gotta do. Don't do dumb shit, Think Indigo Think..." T said to me

"I just want to get this shit ova with. He's been torturing me for years it's time for this shit to stop..." I said

"And I understand that but think about Mari. Think about what just happened to y'all. You wouldn't want her to go through more of that hurt, do you??" She said looking at me

"No I don't..." I said looking at her

"Well listen to her. She knows what best for you even when you don't..." she said truthfully

I sat there for awhile and just thought about everything. They were right I needed a plan cuz I can't put Mari through anything else.

"Okay..." I said looking back at T

"Now go downstairs and makeup with
her..." she said looking at me

"You hate to see her upset too, huh??" I asked

"Yeah hoe..." she said making me laugh and shake my head

T and I went downstairs. T went into the front room and I went to the patio where Mari and Aaliyah were. I walked out and Aaliyah looked at me.

"Can I talk to her for a minute??" I asked Aaliyah

"Yeah..." Aaliyah said before she went back in the house
