As usual, Mint was in the backyard playing in the flowers. She was picking them and putting them in her hair that laid against the back of her pinkish red floral dress. Roseo watched silently from inside the house, admiring her.
Soon, Mint ran inside. Flowers in her hair, dirt on her knees, leafs sticking to her dress. She was skipping to the bathroom to wash up when Roseo grabbed her hand gently and pulled her against the wall.
"Why have you been avoiding and ignoring me?"
"W-what do yo-u mean-n?" She asked acting like she didn't know,
"Don't act like you don't know, baby. I want to know why, and I want to know now." He demanded softly.
"B-because th-this is hi-ghly in-inappropriate! Y-you have a-a girlf-friend and y-you don-t have f-feelin-gs for-r me!" She stuttered up at him, attempting to push him back.
"I don't have feelings for you?!" He about yelled,
"Yes, you don't have feelings for me!" Mint was getting so angry that she couldn't even think about her words before they came tumbling out, trying to get her words in so fast that her stutter had basically disappeared for the time being.
Mint was never angry, so she didn't know that when she is angry that she doesn't stutter. Maybe she should get angry more.
"Don't you understand Mint?"
"Understand what?"
"I love you! God, from the moment I first saw you; I loved you! You have my heart, my soul, fuck-" Before Roseo could continue he was cut off,
"Don't curse" Mint whispered
"You see that, baby? I love that you do that! I love when you accidentally cut me off mid sentence to tell me not to curse, I fucken love it! I love you're cute little hairstyles, I love your short dresses and skirts, I love your dimples, I love your hugs, I love your kisses, I love everything about you. I know you think I get annoyed by your rambling but I don't, and I never will!"
"B-but I thought we were friends? And what about the pretty girls at your school? And-d your girlfriend?"
"I never cared about those fuckers! I only cared about you! You're gorgeous, better than all of them," He took a breath
"We never were friends. You are mine and I am yours." Roseo said with finality in his voice.
Roseo leaned down and captured her lips in an innocent kiss,
"Y-you l-love me?" Mints stutter was back, she was no longer angry, she was surprised.

Mint currently laid on Roseos chest, watching tangled. She was watching intently when suddenly she gasped, sitting up.
"Baby, whats wrong?" Roseo jolted,
"I-I nev-er t-told you ho-w I f-feel! I l-love y-ou, R-Rosie!" She told him, kissing all over his face to show that she did.
"I know, baby. I love you, my love." He told her chuckling.
Mint laid back down on his chest, playing with his fingers.
She soon started slipping into sleep, not before whispering,
"I l-love you-u, ple-ease don'-t le-eave m-me.."
"I love you too, baby. I'll never leave you. I plan on marrying you and treating you like the princess you deserve to be." He kissed her forehead and slipped off to dreams filled of him marrying Mint.
