Fake Dating || Yang Jungwon

~ 03 ~

Jungwon met up with his friends and Y/n during their free period. He explained his plan to her and his friends.

"Okay, so this is what we're going to do," Jungwon started, leaning back in his chair. "We're going to pretend to be in a relationship and make my ex-girlfriend jealous. And we're going to make it look real."

Y/n raised an eyebrow. "And how are we going to do that?"

Jungwon grinned. "We're going to go on dates, hold hands, and post pictures on social media. It's going to be easy. And then my ex-girlfriend will see that I've moved on and she'll come crawling back to me."

His friends looked at each other uncertainly. They weren't sure if this was a good idea.

But Y/n spoke up. "Okay, I'll do it. But only for a short period of time. And we have to make sure that we don't hurt anyone in the process."

Jungwon nodded eagerly. "Of course, of course. We'll be careful."

Y/n sighed, feeling a sense of unease in the pit of her stomach. She didn't know if this was a good idea, but she didn't want to let Jungwon down. She agreed to go along with the plan, hoping that everything would work out in the end.

Little did she know, their plan was going to have consequences they never could have imagined.

~ On the same day ~

Jungwon noticed Minji walking past them and decided to put their plan into action. He quickly grabbed Y/n's hand and intertwined their fingers, hoping to make it look natural. Y/n felt her heart race as he did so, but tried to keep her cool.

Jungwon noticed Y/n's tense reaction and leaned in close to whisper in her ear. "Just relax, Y/n. We're just pretending, remember? Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you."

Y/n took a deep breath and tried to calm down. She knew that this was all just an act, but she couldn't help feeling nervous.

As Minji walked past them, she looked over at Jungwon and Y/n holding hands. Jungwon could see the surprise on her face, and he smirked to himself. It was working.

After Minji had walked away, Y/n quickly pulled her hand away from Jungwon's. "Let's just get this over with," she said, her voice tinged with annoyance.

Jungwon nodded, and they all got up to leave. He knew that Y/n was doing him a favor by pretending to be his girlfriend, but he couldn't help feeling excited about their plan. He was going to make his ex-girlfriend regret ever dumping him.

~ After the classes ~

As Y/n walked into her dorm room, she dropped her bag onto the floor and collapsed onto her bed. She couldn't believe that she had agreed to fake date Jungwon. He was the complete opposite of everything she believed in, but somehow, he had managed to convince her.

Y/n sat up and grabbed her phone. She scrolled through her social media feeds, trying to distract herself from the thoughts swirling in her head. But every time she saw a picture of Jungwon with his arm around a girl or a post about his latest conquest, she felt a pang of regret.

She knew that this fake relationship was going to be a disaster, but she had no choice now. She had to see it through until Jungwon's ex-girlfriend was sufficiently jealous.

Y/n sighed and put her phone down. She decided to take a shower and clear her mind. As she stood under the hot water, she tried to come up with a plan to make this fake relationship work without getting too involved with Jungwon.

But as she stepped out of the shower and wrapped herself in a towel, she couldn't help but think about how soft his hand had felt when he had grabbed hers earlier. She shook her head and tried to push the thought away. This was not what she wanted. She was just playing a part, nothing more.

~ 9 pm ~

At 9 pm, Y/n was sitting on her bed, engrossed in a book when her phone suddenly buzzed. She put down her book and picked up her phone, seeing that Jungwon had messaged her on Instagram. She hesitated for a moment before opening the message, not sure what to expect.

"Hey, Y/n! I hope you're doing well. Just wanted to check in and see how you're feeling about our fake dating plan. I know it might seem weird, but I promise I'll make it worth your while. ;) Let me know if you need anything, okay?"

Y/n rolled her eyes at the winky face and sighed. She knew she had agreed to the plan, but that didn't mean she had to like it. She typed out a quick reply.

"I'm fine, thanks. Just trying to study for exams. Can we talk about the plan tomorrow?"

She hit send and put her phone down, returning to her book. But her mind was too preoccupied with thoughts of Jungwon and their fake relationship, making it difficult to focus on the words in front of her. She couldn't shake off the feeling that she was in over her head.

~ The next morning ~

As Y/n stepped out of her dorm room, she was surprised to see Jungwon standing there, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. He had a small smirk on his face, and Y/n couldn't help but feel a little nervous.

"What are you doing here?" Y/n asked, trying to keep her voice steady.

"I thought I'd walk you to class," Jungwon said casually, pushing himself off the wall.

Y/n raised an eyebrow skeptically. "Why?"

Jungwon shrugged. "Just being a good fake boyfriend."

Y/n rolled her eyes, but couldn't help the small smile that tugged at the corners of her lips. "Fine, but you better not make a scene or anything."

Jungwon chuckled. "I'll be on my best behavior, I promise."

And with that, the two of them began walking towards Y/n's first class. Jungwon kept up a casual conversation, asking Y/n about her classes and what she liked to do in her free time. Y/n couldn't help but feel a little more at ease around him, and she found herself actually enjoying their conversation.

As they arrived at Y/n's classroom, Jungwon stopped and turned to her. "Good luck in class," he said, flashing her a grin. "I'll see you later."

Y/n couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that their conversation was over, but she managed to smile back at him. "Thanks," she said. "See you later."

And with that, Jungwon turned and walked away, leaving Y/n to go to her class with a strange feeling in her stomach.
