~ Period break ~

Y/n was enjoying her lunch break, walking through the campus with her sandwich in hand. She was lost in thought, trying to focus on her studies and forget about Jungwon.

But suddenly, out of nowhere, Jungwon appeared and snatched her lunch from her hand. Y/n was startled and looked at him in disbelief as he started eating her sandwich.

"Hey, that's mine!" she protested.

Jungwon just laughed and took another bite. "Relax, it's just a sandwich. Besides, you always make the best ones," he said, grinning.

Y/n rolled her eyes, feeling annoyed at his behavior. She couldn't believe that he had the audacity to take her lunch like that.

"I can't believe you just did that," she said, giving him a stern look.

Jungwon just shrugged, still munching on her sandwich. "What can I say, I was hungry," he replied, with a grin.

Y/n shook her head and tried to push her annoyance aside. She knew that she couldn't let Jungwon's behavior get to her. They were just fake boyfriend and girlfriend, after all.

"Fine, but you owe me a sandwich now," she said, trying to sound stern but failing to hide a smile.

Jungwon chuckled and handed her back her half-eaten sandwich. "Deal. I'll take you out for lunch tomorrow," he said, smiling.

Y/n couldn't help but feel a flutter in her stomach at his words. She tried to push those feelings aside, knowing that it was all just a show.

"Sure, sounds good," she replied, trying to keep her voice casual.

As they walked through the campus, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of confusion. She didn't know what to make of her relationship with Jungwon. Was it just a show, or was there something more? She knew that she had to keep her feelings in check and focus on her studies. But it was hard when Jungwon was always around, making her feel things that she shouldn't.

Y/n was taken aback when Jungwon suddenly hugged her. She was confused about why he did it, but then she noticed Minji, his ex-girlfriend, standing at a distance, looking at them.

Y/n knew that Jungwon was trying to make Minji jealous by hugging her. It was something that they had agreed upon when they started their fake relationship.

Despite knowing the reason behind it, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of discomfort. She didn't like being used as a prop to make someone else jealous.

"Jungwon, what are you doing?" she whispered, trying to sound stern.

Jungwon just grinned and tightened his grip around her. "Just playing our roles, Y/n," he replied, loud enough for Minji to hear.

Y/n sighed, feeling frustrated. She knew that she had to keep up the act, but it was getting harder and harder to do so. Especially when she didn't know what was real and what wasn't.

As they broke the hug, Minji walked up to them, looking annoyed. "What's going on here, Jungwon?" she asked, giving Y/n a cold stare.

Jungwon put on his charming smile and wrapped his arm around Y/n's waist. "Nothing much, just spending some time with my girlfriend," he said, looking straight at Minji.

Y/n tried to hide her discomfort and smiled, trying to play along. "Hi, Minji. How are you?" she asked, trying to sound friendly.

Minji just snorted and rolled her eyes. "I'm fine. But I don't think you're the right fit for Jungwon," she said, giving Y/n a disdainful look.

Y/n tried to keep her cool and not let Minji's words get to her. "Well, we'll just have to see about that," she replied, with a small smile.

Jungwon just chuckled, enjoying the attention he was getting from both the girls. Y/n couldn't help but feel like she was being used, but she knew that she had to keep up the act if she wanted to succeed in her studies.

As Minji walked away, Jungwon let go of Y/n and turned to his friends. "Hey guys, what's up?" he greeted them, with a smirk still on his face.

Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Niki were Jungwon's closest friends. They were all good-looking and popular, just like him.

"So, how's the fake relationship going?" Heeseung asked, with a smirk of his own.

Jungwon put his arm around Y/n's shoulder, pulling her closer to him. "It's going great, isn't it, Y/n?" he said, looking at her.

Y/n tried to smile, but she felt a little uneasy with all the attention she was getting. "Yeah, it's going great," she replied, trying to sound convincing.

Jay chuckled and nudged Jungwon. "You're such a player, man. Making Minji jealous and all," he said, with a wink.

Jungwon just shrugged, not denying it. "What can I say? It's all part of the game," he replied, with a smirk.

Y/n felt a little uncomfortable with the way they were talking about their fake relationship. It was like they were treating it like a game or a joke, and she didn't want to be a part of it.

"Can we talk about something else?" she asked, trying to change the subject.

Jungwon just chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Sure thing, Y/n. Anything for you," he said, with a grin.

Y/n just rolled her eyes and pushed him away, feeling a little annoyed. She knew that she had to keep up the act, but sometimes it was hard to do so when she didn't know where the lines between reality and fiction were drawn.

Y/n decided to tune out the conversation of Jungwon and his friends, as they talked about the latest parties and gossip around the university. Instead, she took out a book from her bag and started reading.

As she immersed herself in the book, she felt a sense of calm wash over her. Reading was always her escape, her way of forgetting about the world around her.

Jungwon and his friends continued to talk and laugh, occasionally throwing a glance her way. She could tell they were talking about her, but she didn't really care. As long as they weren't making fun of her, she was fine with it.

After a while, Y/n looked up from her book and saw that Jungwon and his friends were getting up from the table.

"Hey, Y/n, we gotta go. We have class," Jungwon said, as he picked up his bag.

Y/n nodded and put her book back in her bag. "Okay, see you later," she replied, with a smile.

As Jungwon and his friends walked away, Y/n couldn't help but feel a little lonely. She had spent so much time with Jungwon lately that she had forgotten what it was like to be alone.

But she knew that this fake relationship was just that, fake. And eventually, it would come to an end.

As she walked to her next class, Y/n couldn't help but wonder what would happen when the truth came out. Would things go back to the way they were before? Or would everything change?

Only time would tell.
