Jungwon's friends looked at him with a smirk on their faces as he sat down at the table with them.

"Jungwon, did you walk Y/n to her class?" Jay asked, raising his eyebrows.

Jungwon rolled his eyes. "Yeah, so what? I'm just being a good boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?" Jake laughed. "You've only been fake dating for a day and you're already calling yourself her boyfriend?"

Jungwon shrugged. "It's just for show, you know that. But I have to admit, walking her to class wasn't that bad."

The guys looked at him in surprise. They had never heard Jungwon talk about a girl like that before.

"Maybe she's rubbing off on you," Group teased.

Jungwon scowled at him. "Shut up, man. I'm still the same guy."

"Sure you are," Jay said, smirking. "But we can tell you're starting to like her a little."

Jungwon shook his head. "No way. I'm just playing the part. It's all an act."

His friends just laughed and teased him some more, but deep down Jungwon couldn't help but wonder if there was some truth to what they were saying. Maybe Y/n was starting to rub off on him after all.

Jungwon entered the classroom with his usual confident swagger, his friends following closely behind. Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Niki all took their seats, chatting and joking around as they waited for class to start.

But Jungwon's mind was elsewhere. He couldn't stop thinking about the plan he had hatched with Y/n, the nerdy girl he had just agreed to fake date. He knew it was a risky move, but he was willing to do whatever it took to make his ex-girlfriend Minji jealous.

As the teacher began the lesson, Jungwon tried to focus on the lecture, but his mind kept drifting back to Y/n. He wondered what she was doing right now, if she was as nervous about this fake dating scheme as he was. He couldn't help but feel a little guilty for dragging her into his drama, but he pushed those thoughts aside.

He turned to his friends, hoping to distract himself. "Hey, guys," he said, "what do you think about this whole fake dating thing?"

Heeseung shrugged. "I don't know, man. It seems like a lot of work for something that might not even work out."

Jay chimed in. "Yeah, and what if Y/n actually starts to like you? Then what?"

Jungwon shrugged off their concerns. "Come on, guys. This is all just for show. I'm not actually interested in Y/n like that."

Jake raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that, Jungwon? You seemed pretty eager to ask her out earlier."

Jungwon scowled. "I'm doing this to make Minji jealous, not because I have feelings for Y/n. And besides, it's not like anyone would actually date her for real."

Sunghoon and Sunoo exchanged a glance, but didn't say anything. Niki spoke up. "I don't know, man. This whole thing seems kind of messed up. Maybe you should just talk to Minji and try to work things out with her instead of playing these games."

Jungwon shook his head. "It's too late for that. She's already moved on to that new guy. This is the only way to make her regret leaving me."

The rest of the class passed in a blur as Jungwon continued to stew over his plan. He couldn't wait to see the look on Minji's face when she saw him with Y/n on his arm. It was going to be epic.

~ In the period break ~

As soon as the period ended, Jungwon quickly gathered his things and left his classroom, leaving his friends behind. He made his way to Y/n's classroom and waited outside, his heart beating fast in his chest.

When Y/n finally emerged from the classroom, she didn't even spare him a glance. She walked right past him, her eyes fixed on the ground.

Jungwon felt a twinge of disappointment, but he wasn't ready to give up yet. He followed her as she made her way down the hallway, trying to catch up to her.

"Hey, Y/n," he said, falling into step beside her.

Y/n kept walking, ignoring him.

Jungwon frowned. "Come on, Y/n. Don't be like that. We agreed to do this fake dating thing together, remember?"

Y/n finally turned to look at him, her expression guarded. "I remember. But that doesn't mean I have to like it."

Jungwon felt a pang of guilt. He hadn't considered how this whole thing might be affecting Y/n. He knew he had asked a lot of her by roping her into his plan, but he had been so focused on making Minji jealous that he hadn't really thought about Y/n's feelings.

"I'm sorry," he said, slowing down to match her pace. "I know this is a lot to ask of you. But please, just give it a chance. I promise it'll be worth it."

Y/n sighed. "Fine. But don't expect me to be all lovey-dovey with you in public. I'm not going to embarrass myself like that."

Jungwon grinned. "No problem. We'll keep it low-key. Just enough to make Minji jealous."

Y/n rolled her eyes but didn't say anything else. They continued down the hallway in silence until they reached the library.

Jungwon held the door open for her, gesturing for her to go inside. "After you."

Y/n gave him a small smile before stepping inside. Jungwon followed her, scanning the room for a quiet spot where they could talk.

As they settled into a table in the back corner of the library, Jungwon couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. This fake dating plan was going to be epic. He just knew it.

Y/n pulled out her textbooks and started flipping through the pages, trying to focus on the material. She knew she had to do well in her classes if she wanted to get a good job in the future, and she didn't want this fake dating thing with Jungwon to distract her from her studies.

But it was hard to concentrate with Jungwon sitting next to her, watching her every move. She could feel his eyes on her, and it made her nervous.

"Is this what you do all day?" Jungwon asked, gesturing at her textbooks.

Y/n glared at him. "Yes. I study. Unlike some people, I take my education seriously."

Jungwon raised an eyebrow. "Hey, I'm not dumb. I just don't see the point in studying all the time. Life is meant to be enjoyed, you know?"

Y/n rolled her eyes. "Sure, but there's a time and place for everything. Right now, the time and place is studying."

Jungwon leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms. "Fine. But don't you ever get bored?"

Y/n shook her head. "No. I actually find this stuff interesting."

Jungwon looked skeptical. "Really? Even something like calculus?"

Y/n grinned. "Especially calculus. It's like solving a puzzle."

Jungwon chuckled. "You're such a nerd."

Y/n bristled at the word but didn't say anything. Instead, she turned back to her books and tried to tune out Jungwon's presence. But it was hard. She could feel him watching her, his eyes burning into her skin.

Finally, she couldn't take it anymore. "What are you looking at?"

Jungwon smirked. "You. You're kind of cute when you're studying, you know."

Y/n felt a blush creep up her cheeks. "Stop it. We're supposed to be fake dating, remember?"

Jungwon shrugged. "I know, I know. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate your good qualities."

Y/n rolled her eyes but couldn't help but feel a small flutter in her stomach. She quickly pushed it down, reminding herself that this was all just an act.

They continued studying in silence, with occasional glances and small talk. As they got up to leave for their next class, Y/n couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. This whole fake dating thing was starting to feel more real than she had anticipated.
