2 months after the wedding

Victoria heaved a sigh as she walked through the courtyard gardens her ladies in waiting following in suite, it had been 2 months since her lavish wedding to the King, which had been set in the mid fall, October 25th 1536. They had consummated their marriage that same night and Henry had visited her bed multiple times throughout the weeks. Victoria had not bled her monthly since then and she was now growing excited but fearful.

What if she was with child? That would be good news but "what if the babe was a a female?" Victoria worried if she gave the king a son her spot as queen of England would be secure and she would be in his favor, if she gave a daughter... well she didnt even want to wonder what her fate would be.

Victoria decided to head back to her chambers, feeling a bile start to rise in her throat. She quickly got back to hef chambers and quickly into her privy chamber. Her ladies kept asking her if she was well and if she was feeling sick. Victoria was about to answer when she bent over and became sick. Her ladies rushed to her aid.

Lady Natalie Louise, Queen Victoria's head lady and best friend yelled at Lady Williams and Lady Seymour to go fetch the physician. Both ladies frantically left the room in search of the royal physician. When they arrived a man with a leather bag was trailing behind them.

"Hello your Majesty I'm Doctor Henrik Wallis." The man said laying his bag down on the bed side table. "Hello doctor, I think I might be with child, I have been sick and and have not bled in 2 months." Victoria said to the doctor who began unpacking his items. "Those are the normal signs of pregnancy, I shall check your womb." Dr Wallis replied.

After checking her womb Dr Wallis stood with a proud smile. "Her Majesty you are indeed with child!" Victoria smiled as her ladies cheered in joy. Victoria gave the doctor a grateful thank you and smile and sent him on his way making sure he wouldnt tell the King just yet. Victoria and her ladieswere all giggling with eachother and being joyful.

All but one...
