Spielberg-Race Day

It's passed a week since Lewis and I started again what we left and we decided have a romantic dinner after the race before the party

I am on Pole and Lewis is next to me in second place,  the weather and the conditions are good to race today

"Do you hear me, Mikky?" Hugh asked

"Loud and Clear" I answered "Let's win"

It's lights out and away we go!

I started really good and I could see Lewis and Max fighting from my mirrors, I was in safe place and happy about it

I had good time gap with the second that now was Max

Okay, I prefer Lewis

I have good pace and probably better than Max

"Michaela it's Christian, let Max through. He's faster than you" Christian said to the team radio

"No" I just answered immediately keep driving my car "I have better pace than him, if he wants the first position tell him to fight"

"Copy that" Christian said

Max wanting to fight with him but I wasn't letting him pass me

With my amazing defensive skills I was 13 seconds ahead of Max and proud about it

"Box. Box" Hugh said

I drive into the pits making a really fast pit stop and then I got out in front of Lewis now because Max was into the pits

Lewis and I were close, but he wasn't fighting against me

I don't know if that makes me happy or sad

I won the race with Max on P3 and Lewis on P2

We are a good trio to the podium

I gave a hug to my engineers and mechanics being really happy for my result

"Get in there Michaela!" Lewis gave me a hug "You did amazing today!"

"Thanks!" I answered

Two hours later I was to my hotel room getting ready for the date night with Lewis and then for the party

As I was wearing my heels I got a call from my mother

My grandpa had a heart attack and now he's in intensive care unit in the University Hospital of Frankfurt

I changed into black leggings, a hoodie and sneakers

I moved away my makeup and I closed my suitcase

I need to go in Frankfurt

As I was ready to leave the door knocked and I walked to open

"Hello?" Lewis said looking to what I wear

"I have to go in Frankfurt! Can I go with your jet?" I asked

"Yes but what happened?" Lewis asked confused

"My grandpa had a heart attack and he's in intensive care unit in the University Hospital of Frankfurt" I replied

"We are leaving together! I'm not letting you alone" Lewis said

We walked to his car and Lewis called his pilot telling that we are heading to Frankfurt

We made a quick stop to his hotel to change into comfy tracksuits, take his stuff and then go to the airport

"I can't believe that this just happened" I said sad "It's so hard"

"He'll be fine! Just like your father! Don't worry! Just be patient" Lewis smiled at me

"The date destroyed" I said sad "I'm sorry"

"Don't say that again! We can have our comfy date here in the jet!" Lewis walked to the kitchen and he came back holding a bottle of wine and two wine glasses

"You..." I said laughing "Little bastard"

"I always have something for special guests" Lewis served me wine "I hope you like it"

"I love wine" I said laughing "Do you think that my grandpa will be fine?"

"Absolutely! Don't worry!" Lewis comforted me

Three hours later we were to the University Hospital of Frankfurt, I met my parents, grandma, aunts and uncles there

"How is he?" I asked giving my dad a quick but warm hug

"He's fine don't worry teddy bear" My dad answered

I sat on the chair of the hospital and Lewis sat next to me

"He'll be fine" He whispered to my ear "just wait for a bit! Remember that tomorrow afternoon we will be in Monaco"

"And I'll have my first driving lesson" I said smiling

"Exactly!" Lewis squeezed my hand

An hour later the doctor came and told us that my grandpa is fine but he has to stay in the hospital for the night

Dad drove myself, mom and Lewis to our house in Heppenheim

"I can always stay in a hotel" Lewis said as we walked in

"You are my daughter's boyfriend and I have to respect that! So you stay here" My dad said

I looked at my mom that she gave me a warm smile
