The Promise

I Already Do

**Beth**
I didnt want him to see me cry but I couldn't hold it in anymore. 
**Alex**
As I held Beth in my arms , I didn't know that I hurt her so much. 
I really screwrd up this time. 
**Beth**
I cried on him for awhile until I let go of him and wiped my face and I wanted to walk past him when he caught my hand said "I didn't mean to make you cry . I didn't know that I hurt you so much ".

Then he opened my door and before he left he said "I'm sorry ".
And then he left .
I felt like I just want to cry some more but my tears aren't worth him .

***The Next Day ***
I woke up and did my morning stuff and went downstairs and saw my parents. 
"Morning swetie ".
"Morning pumpkin ". My dad said kissing  my head .
"Morning ".

I ate my breakfast and grabbed my keys and went to school. 
Once I saw my friends , I went to them and they saw how upset I was. 
"Its Alex ". Cathy guessed.
"Yeah ".
"Sorry ". They both said and we went to all of our lockers before the bell .

Once I got to my first class which was Science , I had to sit next to Alex because when it was the first day of school , my science teacher didn't come. 
We  had to work on something to show the class next week. 

Once she was done explaining the exercise, she told us to work on it for the rest of the class .
We didn't want to talk to each other but we had to .
Let's just get this over with ". I said. 
"Beth , I am really sorry that I hurt you ".
"It doesn't matter to you ".
"Yes it-

"I don't care . It doesn't matter . Let's just get it done ".
"Fine ".
We got done with the exercise before the bell rang .
When it did , I went to my next class which was Spanish. 

I like Spanish but sometimes I don't understand Spanish.
We got some vocabulary in class and then we got a verb that we had to use for the vocabulary .
The bell rang and then I went to lunch. 

I ate my lunch and then went to my last two classes of the day and then the bell rang and I went to my friends .
"Don't make Alex get you upset ".
"You should show him that you don't need him anymore by going on a date with some ".

"Yeah , like your crush ".
Yeah , I had a crush on a guy named Charlie. 
He was a really sweet guy .
He is  in my class but I don't talk to him because I didn't want to embrass myself. 
But I didn't like him like I liked Alex. 

Wait what ? You you guys may wondering. 
When did you like Alex ?
Well that is the whole reason why I hate Alex .
We dated and then I told him that I loved him and then she cheated on  me and then he saw how much pain he caused me and then he left .

I just wish he didn't come back .
When I got home , my parents were in the living room. 
I said "Hi mom and dad ". And I was about to go to my room when my dad said "Pumpkin , can you come here please ".

I went to the living room and saw Alex and his mother. 
"Hi sweetie ". Alex mother said. 
"Hi ".
Alex didnt say anything , he just looked mad and upset. 
"We need to tell you something ".
"What is it ?".
"Alex mother , me and your mother are going away for awhile ". My father said

"Why ". I said
"We just want to ". My mother said
"So that is why Alex going to stay here ".
"What . No he  can't . Why ?".
"Because you can't stay here by yourself ".
"I can go to either Cathy or Ally 's house.  Why do I have to stay with him ".

"It will be great . And it will also be good for you guys to reconnect your friendship ".
Me and Alex both looked at each other and then I mumbled a "Fine ". and then left .
***The Next Day ****

I woke up and did my morning stuff and went downstairs to see Alex. 
I didn't see my parents .
"My mom and your parents left already ".  He said. 
I just grabbed my keys and was about to go to the door when he grabbed my hand and said "Don't hate me ".

"That's impossible since I already do ". I said and got my hand out of his grip and left .
