Jake put his hands on my shoulder and said "Beth , you shouldn't have said anything ".
"But I needed to ". I said .
"No you didn't ". He said. 
"Stop making me feel bad ". I said .
"I am not trying to . I am just saying that you shouldn't have said anything . You could have listened to me and let me and Alex handle it ". He said. 

"But it does involve me . He likes me well more like was always in love with me ". I said. 
"Well he is your best friend ". He said .
"And we dated and he well I ruined our friendship because I was too stub...
I moved away from him and then he laughed and said "Your were too stubborn".

"Whatever ". I said as I sat back down on the chair .
"You need to stop being stubborn ". He said. 
"Sometimes I need to stop but not all the time ". I said.
"No , you need to stop being stubborn all the time ". He said. 

"Whatever ". I said .
"Can you explain something to me in this Math homework you gave me since your here ?". He asked .
"Okay ". I said and he came over to the desk and pulled out his Math book and we got to work .

While we were working on the Math homework , the clouds started to get really dark and it wasn't night time yet .
"It is going to rain ". I said by his window .
He came over to the window and stood behind me and said "Yeah , it is g -
He got cut of by the rain now falling. 

It started to get violent and lighting came then thunder .
I moved away from the window and Jake pulled the curtains to cover the window .
"How am gonna get home ?". I asked as I sat down on the bed. 
"When it stops ". He said .

"What if it doesn't stop ?". I asked .
"I am not that bad to stay alone with ". He said leaning on one of the polls .
I didn't say anything and I looked at him .
"I am not ". He said feeling offended .
"Whatever ". I said .
The phone to his house rang and he picked it up .

My phone rang as well and I picked it up. 
"Hi mom". I said .
"Sweetie , are you okay ?". My mother asked .
"Yeah , why ?". I asked.
"There is a lot of  rain and the thunder and lighting  too ". She said .
"Okay , where are you ?".  She asked .
"I am at my friend Jake 's house ". I said. 
"Of course your there ". Alex said in the background .
"You made her to go there ". Cathy and Ally said .

"Sorry sweetie , your on speaker ". My mother said. 
"Ohh okay ". I said .
"Sweetie , you have to stay there until it stops raining ". My dad said .
"Okay ". I said .
"But tell your friend Jake no touching ". My father said. 
"Okay dad ". I said.
"Love you sweetie ". My mother and father said. 

"Love you too mom and dad ".
And then I hung up.
Jake hung up too and he said "Well , my aunty said that you have to stay here until it stops raining and I should control myself but I don't like you like that ".
"You don't and my dad said also the same thing ". I said. 

"Okay ". He said. 
Jake walked out the room and asked "Where are you going ?". I asked.
"To make food.  My aunty told me to ". He said. 
"Ohh okay ". I said.
"Come with me ". He said.
I got up and followed him downstairs.
"What do you wanna eat ?". Jake asked me .
"Pizza ". I said .
"Okay ". He said. 

I went to the living room and turned on the tv and watched some shows while the pizza was getting ready. 
I felt like if someone was watching me so I looked by the doorway and saw Jake watching me.
"I didn't want to interrupt you ". He said once he saw me and scratched the back of his head .

"Okay. Is it ready ?". I asked .
"Yeah ". He said and walked to the kitchen. 
We ate the pizza and it tasted really good. 
When I was done I said "Thank you for the pizza.  For a badboy , you cook really good " .

"You only got a peak into my soft side ". He said but the last two words he said in a whisper .
"I heard that and aww Jake has a soft side ". I said. 
"Whatever ". He said as he wanted to leave but then lighting striked and thunder roared .
I got sacred because I don't like when there is lighting nd thunder .

Jake looked at me and asked "What's wrong ?".
"Nothing ". I said trying not to let Jake tease me about this .
I  tried walking to where Jake was but  I didn't make it obvious. 
I followed him back to his room and he said "Also , my aunt said that if you wanna take a bathe , you can ".

"Okay ". I said. 
Then another lighting and thunder came and I  knew this night was going to be a long one.
