She didn't want to do it. But the man in her head made her. She didn't want to cause pain, she just wanted to be happy again with him. But the man in her head would tell her things, tell her horrific deeds like to hurt the boy she liked, Sam. The man in her head would tell her to do things that would hurt Sam and make his whole world come crashing down. He made her believe that Sam hated her and her family too. He would make her want to do things that would injure Sam. She knew she didn't want to. She wanted to fight for Sam, but she feels like she's been fighting for too long; the battle is unwinnable. She has been strong for too long and she can't take it. She wants to give in and let the man inside her head win. She just wants it over. She doesn't want to fight anymore. She can't do it. He tells her to kill Sam. She just runs into his arms and cries her troubles out. Same having no idea about the fight going on behind those crying eyes.
