Have you ever had one of those days, when you're completely afraid and you don't know what to do? Yeah, that's happening to me right now. The world feels like it's in slow motion. Clark is going to tell my secret and Joe is going to know that I'm actually his best friend Savannah, and I really didn't die.

Clark is still staring at me and I haven't uttered a word. To say shock was on his face is an understatement. Clark looks between Joe and me, clearly confused.

“But I-what?” he asks, pointing between the both of us.

“Clark,” I clear my throat. “It's great to see you again.”

“Same to you Savannah,” he responds, smiling slightly. “But when did you bo-“

He stops when Sienna turns towards him and slaps her hand over his mouth.

“Clark,” she hisses. “A word please.”

She drags him out of the room, dragging me with them as well. I send a reassuring smile to Joe who is looking as confused as ever.

“Okay, I am so confused right now,” Clark whisper-shouts, as we enter my room.

“Shall I explain it? Or will you?” Sienna asks.

“I'll do it,” I sigh, running a hand through my brown hair. “Well, where do I start?”

“How about the beginning?” Clark suggests.

“Okay, from the beginning. Four years ago I was in a coma for six months - as you should know. Joe was there every day waiting for me to wake up and then one day, I flat-lined. Actually flat-lined, and the doctor's told Joe that I was dead,” I pause for a little bit, taking a deep breath. Tears threating to fall. “So, I guess Joe asked his parents to move away and he left without telling anyone. He changed his number and started a new life. The doctor's managed to bring me back to life, so I woke up a few weeks later and Joe wasn't there. I hated him for four years because I thought he left me, but I was wrong. He thought I was dead.

I break down into tears. I need my mum. I need her here with my now.

I'm so out of it, I don't realise that Clark has wrapped me in a hug. I cry into his shirt.

“Shhh,” he whispers. “Don't cry.”

My breathing settles and I pull away from him, wiping away the remaining tears.

“I need to go and visit my mum,” I blurt.

Sienna's eyes widen. “Are you sure?”

“Yeah, I need to. I haven't visited her in a few weeks. I-I need to see her.”

“Okay,” she says, softly. “Do you want me to drive you?”

“No, it'll be too suspicious. I'm not supposed to know you. Clark can take me since he is supposed to be a family friend.”

“I am?” he asks, dumbly, pointing to himself.

“Yeah,” I chuckle, a little. “That's what I told Joe.”

His eyes light up in recognition. “Oh okay. I'll drive you then.”

With that we all walk back out to the lounge room, where we find Lisa and Joe laughing about something and Larissa talking to Cameron, while Caitlin is talking to Lacy.

They all stop what they’re doing when we walk back in.

“I'm going to have to cut this visit short, Joe,” Clark announces. “I have to take Sav somewhere.”

His face drops in disappointment.

“Don't worry man,” Clark reassures him. “We'll be back for dinner.”
