Two weeks later, with Rory eight weeks pregnant, many things had changed.

As they packed up to leave the motel two weeks prior, having spent their vacation from work, the atmosphere was gloomy. Rory didn't know where she was going to go, since she had an apartment with Noah, but she couldn't go there. She had begun an apartment search the day before but had not found anything. She assumed that she would have to stay in a hotel for a while.

Upon realizing that problem, Sadie was quick to act. She had found the apartment listings open on her laptop and was more confused than ever.

"So, you lived with Noah?" She asked, assuming the reason that Rory would need a new place.

Rory nodded, "I did. So, obviously, that won't work,"

Sadie gulped, then smiled. She really wanted to say something, but she wasn't sure if she should. She had been thinking about it for a while but was sure that it was too fast. Not for her, for Rory. Sadie was ready for everything.

"Move in with me,"

Rory laughed loudly, "What?"

"I'm serious," Sadie said, contradicting herself with a chuckle, "I have the room. Come live with me,"

Rory sat down on the bed, "I can't just 'move in with you'," She said, making quotation marks with her fingers.

"Why not?"

"What do you mean 'why not'?" Rory chuckled, not understanding the nonchalance that Sadie emitted when she made such an odd request. For Rory, moving in was a big deal. When she and Noah decided to move in together, they had already been dating for years, but Rory still had to think about it for a couple days.

"Give me one good reason and I'll back off," Sadie offered, crossing her arms over her chest.

"We've been dating for two weeks, Sadie," Rory said, cocking her head with a knowing look.

"You mean we've been living together for two weeks," Sadie corrected, "I'm pretty sure this relationship is already going really fast. We might as well just skip another few steps. Besides, it makes sense. I mean, we're probably going to be moving in together soon, anyways, before the baby's born. Why would you move into a new apartment then have to move out again?"

"You raise some good points," Rory stood, wrapping her arms around the back of Sadie's neck, "it does make sense,"

"My apartment's nice, too," Sadie said, staring into her girlfriend's bright green eyes, "only the best for you, babe,"

"How many bedrooms?"

"Two," Sadie responded with a smirk. She knew where Rory was going with this. If the apartment only had one bedroom, they would have to move again anyways, since there was a baby on the way.

"Why the hell do you have two bedrooms?" Rory asked with a smile. She was slightly annoyed that Sadie's apartment had passed the bedroom test, but also excited, since she knew then that she could move in. For some reason, with Sadie, this step wasn't as terrifying as it was with Noah. She figured that when she was with Noah, she was terrified to move in the direction of marriage, whereas with Sadie, she was excited.

"My roommate moved out. He was shitty anyways,"

Rory threw her head back with a laugh, "Do you think it could be converted into a nursery?"

Sadie stared at her with a false air of surprise, "As a matter of fact, that's just what I was thinking." She pushed Rory back onto the bed, "You know what they say, great minds think alike,"
