"Why do you do that? Why do you dress like that? Why can't you be like any other girl?" Elijah asked Rachel with curiosity, the girl who was now hugging her books protectively as she looked at her long grey dress she loved so much.

"We're so happy to know that you're fine Elijah." Mrs Dellis said as she looked at him with kind eyes.
Mr Dellis nodded at his wife's words, showing that he was thinking the same thing.
When Rachel and Elijah walked to the living room holding hands, her parents couldn't help but gasp in surprise until Rachel explained everything to them.
Jack and Davin were there too. Davin couldn't help but smile at them widely. Jack on the other hand was burning in anger silently.
"Thank you. It means a lot." He said before smiling kindly at them too.
"Before going back to my house I just felt like I needed to talk to you about something very special." He added before squeezing Rachel's hand in his gently.
That's when she knew he was about to tell them about them. So her palms became sweaty as she gulped.
She was scared her parents wouldn't understand their decision due to their young age. Maybe her mother would understand more since she knew how she felt for Elijah. But when it comes to her father, she still didn't know how he would react.
"We're listening." Davin said.
And by the look on his face, Rachel could tell that he already knew because when her eyes met his, he winked at her with a huge grin on his lips making her blush immediately.
"Well."
He started before looking at Rachel for approval, when she nodded slowly at him, he turned his attention back to her parents before speaking up again.
"I asked Rachel to be my wife. And she said yes." He finally said.
Rachel's parents gasped. Mr Dellis was surprised and same for his wife as they looked at each other, not knowing what to say.
Mrs Dellis was surely surprised but in a good way since she was trying to not smile since her confused husband was still looking at her.
Rachel's eyes darted to Jack's. With his jaw clenched painfully, she could see something inside his eyes but she didn't know what it was exactly. But she knew that it wasn't something pleasing.
A few minutes passed and no one was speaking. Everyone was so silent and that made Rachel even more nervous. Jack was the first person to speak.
"Congrats!"
He said with a fake smile on his lips. He stood up before shaking his head in disgust at Rachel. Grabbing his phone that was still on the big sofa of the living room, he walked away from them and inside Davin's room.
Davin rolled his eyes before standing up too, to follow him. No one could understand his reaction but somehow Rachel felt like Davin also knew why he reacted that way.
"It's a yes for me. I'm so happy for you guys."
Davin said as he quickly hugged Rachel then winked at Elijah before following Jack, leaving Rachel and Elijah alone with his parents.
