I spend a week in London not worrying about the boys not talking to me and having a lot of fun with my best friend, Valeria.

When I pick her up at the airport, she keeps asking tons of questions about the boys. She ends up pretty disappointed when I tell her that I haven't actually spoken to any of them.

"Except for Liam" I say, "He has smiled at me a couple of times and said 'Thank you' when I finish doing his hair"

"Oh, great" Val answers sarcastically, "Although you always liked Liam, didn't you?"

"Yeah" I admit, remembering he was the one who I thought was pretty handsome in the 'Gotta Be You' video; "But I expected more conversation than a quick 'Thank you' and a pair of smiles. Not just with Liam, but with all of them. And Liam is my sister's, remember" I joke.

"What does she think about all this?" Valeria asks lowering her voice tone.

"My sister? She could not believe it. She was quite mad about it, considering she is the great fan, and not me. But she is happy I have this chance. She wants me to take pictures of everything that goes on around me, and I guess she's also expecting me to invite them home when I go back"

Val laughs and hugs me.

"Just remember, if they think Harry needs a girlfriend, give them my phone number" she jokes.

We laugh again and leave the airport.

The week goes by rather quickly and the boys are not mentioned again until Thursday night, when we head to the hotel after our shopping afternoon. My phone rings and 'Sam' appears in the screen.

"Pick it up!" Val shouts laughing after I have stared at the screen for a couple of seconds.

"Sam?"

"Hi, Victoria; can you talk?"

"Sure, tell me" I answer, wondering what does he want.

"The boys have the soundcheck tomorrow morning. I'll pick you up at ten, so you can watch them rehearse and then you'll have lunch with Niall backstage. I'll have someone pick your friend up for the concert."

"Em... okay" I answer.

"See you tomorrow"

"Bye"

"What did he want?" Valeria asks the second I hang the phone.

I tell her the plan, and she gets really excited about it.

"This is so cool!" she keeps saying, "It's true we got to see them on second row when they came to our city, but first row without cueing there for hours? And having someone picking me up to go to the concert? This is awesome! Will you be with me?"

Here comes the lie; or at least not the entire truth.

"No..." I say with a sad face.

Not tomorrow, but on Sunday; but I'm not telling her that.

She gives me a sad smile and nods.

"It's okay" she says, "I'll tell you all about it afterwards and I'll take thousands of pictures and record dozens of videos"

"You'll enjoy the concert without thinking about me. Remember I'll be attending almost all of the concerts of the States leg of the tour"

"Remember I'll be attending..." she mocks me, sticking her tongue out.
