4. The Palace Of Al Haseeyra

After climbing several floors, of dark corridors, the girls, escorted by their strange '' hosts '', could finally breathe fresh air, crossing a breathtaking Patio, which shined under the starry night, with colorful lanterns hanging from the white marble walls. The floor was covered by patterns of oriental, coloured tiles, while Bougainvillea and Hydrangeas, and Jasmine, Orange blossom, and roses, grew in large vases, or spreading their vines and branches, like bushes, over walls, columns, among Palm trees, and Papyrus. The air was full of the scents of all these flowers, and a small fountain, all covered in tiles, at the center of the Patio, gave the pleasant chant of water, appeasing and fresh.
They passed under one of the archways, leading to a sequence of vast rooms, which marble floors were covered by silky oriental carpets, with leater, and satin coushions spread on the floor, next to the large and deep sofas. Small wooden carved tables, were in any corner, with Silver trays full of any sort of fruits, caraphes filled with liquors and wines.
The girls were truly amazed. It was like a Palace from the 1001 nights stories.
Tapesties, carpets, and other embroidered fabrics hang on the walls. Vases full of flowers, mixing jasmine and roses, with gardenias, filled the room with their fresh fragrances, while from golden and silver pots, Sandalwood burned with Myrrh, adding a sweet, woody aroma to the ambiance.
Young boys and girls, around 12 years old, served their masters without uttering a word.
Noticing the worried look on Mirajane's face, Luxus explained '' we accept orphans of both genders, who are mute from birth. They serve us loyally and we take care of them, until they are 20 years old, and we are even more safe about our secrets. '' he said.
'' Before we give you a full explanation, and satisfy your curiosity, may I suggest that each of You Ladies, take some time in her room, to '' refresh'' and wear something more appropriate?' 'Jellal gallantly proposed.
The girls silently nodded, and each followed a young girl, who would assist them, to take a shower and wear something less revealing.
They were again amazed by their bedrooms. Every detail, the colours, everything seemed to be carefully chosed for each of them specifically, as if they knew their tastes.
