"I just fed you why are you awake?" it was 3am and Kennedy(her daughter) wouldn't go to bed. she was three months olds now and was doing fine
"you think everything is funny" she laughed at Kennedy who was smiling at her making noises. jae came downstairs and saw his mother on the couch

"why are you awake? you're supposed to be sleep" she said laying her sister in jae's hands
"I was watching the people cook" jae looked cooking videos. he would always send them to his mom so she could make the dishes he would see

"why you sleeping?" He whispered to her. he wanted to play with her since she was awake but now she was going to sleep
"stink let her sleep. she been keeping me up all night" she laughed. jae pocked his baby sister in the belly watching her smile in her sleep
"she smiled" he looked at his mother with a smile on his face
"do it again let me record it " she said pulling out her phone to record it making them both smile. seven came out the bedroom on the phone with a stank face
"she got a phone you waking me up for nothingggg" seven dragged on the phone with pops. he called seven since he couldn't get through to Cartier
"yo dad" he passed her his phone before walking back into the room
"yo dumbass don't know how pick up the GOT DAMN PHONE" pop shouted at her he was frustrated
"damn you trying pop my ear" she mugged pulling the phone away from her ear a little
"we have something important to talk about in the morning and I ain't playing be at my doctors appointment at 11am" he ended the call
"come on stink let's go to sleep" she closed her laptop,he put all Kennedy's toys and they went into thier room
she put Kennedy in her crib and jae got into his parents bed
"can elizabeth come with us to the park tomorrow to get icecream?"Elizabeths parents were on vacation so she was staying with her aunt
she was cool, she loved her neice and elizabeth explained how she couldn't hang out with her friend because her mom was too overprotective

"yea I'm free I'll come over" pops finished up the call and looked at his daughter who was looking at him confused
"you old as hell and you talking about... I'll come over" she mocked him
"I been fucking this big booty bitch I met GOTDAMN her pussy-okay I don't want to here that" she cut him off
"man shut up you finna have a little sister real soon" Cartier mugged her dad before she could reply to doctor walked in
"this is your baby?" The doctor asked Cartier and Cartier replied with a smile and a nod

"damn how old you is?" pops asked the doctor making her laugh. she found pops attractive too but she was working
"we'll discuss that later" she winked at pops, Cartier was stood there awkward not know what to do
"so your treatment is working so you are slowly getting better but this doesn't guarantee that you still have a lot of time" Cartier closed her eyes and took a deep breath
she didn't like reminding herself he was going to die but pops always did because when he did go it would pain her more
he wanted them to prepare themselves. he knew you could never prepare for death but he wanted them to be able to come to terms with it
"you finna piss me off" Cartier said to her dad she told him specifically she ain't wanna hear anything that has anything to do with dying
"shut up we going somewhere after this that's why you here but this is a reminder" he laughed at her
"but here's more medication for you take this after every meal" the doctor handed pop his medication. He stood up and put Kennedy back in the stroller
"im bout to fuck this doctor give me like a half hour" her dad said lowly to Cartier making her mug and leave disgusted
"so how old you is?" pops asked and she replied with thirty six
