'It's cold...' (Y/n) thought to herself as she let out a sigh, her breath hot compared to the chilly air
The ex-Marine had long stopped swinging her legs over the ledge, her eyes focused on the river below her as she tiredly blinked away the sleep, her cheeks were less flushed seeing as the alcoholic effect was wavering but her nose was still puffy red as she sniffled from the same cold air that sent shivers down her spine
"Finally" Zoro groaned as he cut the Mayor down or rather slashed at his torso, the Swordsman then looked up at her with a smirk "Enjoying the view, doll face?"
"You know-" (Y/n) paused and sniffled again "-It's nice having a bodyguard like you — you did look like you struggled though" She teased with a quiet giggle while resuming swinging her legs back and forth as Zoro climbed the ladder
"Wanna try?" He asked when he finished climbing the ladder making (Y/n) notice something in his hand "You're drunk anyway"
"I... I think I'm good" The ex-Marine mumbled while watching as he sat down beside her
"Your loss" He sighed as he popped the bottle open "It's finally become a quiet, nice night..." He whispered before taking a sip from the alcoholic drink which didn't smell that appealing to the (H/c)
"Are you sure it's fine that you left Luffy down there?" (Y/n) asked quietly while she looked at Luffy who was not far from the Baroque agent's body "He is asleep..." She pointed out
"He'll be fine" Zoro shrugged before turning to look at her almost awkwardly as he took in a small short "I'm not good with words... But-" He paused as the girl beside him turned to him with a confused look "-I'll show you that we're partners..."
A small smile made its way to (Y/n)'s lips "That's good enough for me" She nodded with a whisper before they fell into comfortable silence
Slowly (Y/n)'s eyes started closing, her blinking became slower as she took a moment to sit with her eyes closed before opening them again. Her head was nodding slightly forward as she yawned again with a hand over her mouth
"Ah—" (Y/n) yelped, she flinched and slapped her hand over her mouth "What was that?" She whispered as she looked toward the port where she saw an explosion
"Mhm, I don't know" Zoro mumbled as he set aside the sake bottle and placed his hand over the handle of his sword "I think you should go somewhere safer, go find that Cook, Usopp, and Nami" He instructed while standing up
"I do appreciate you looking out for me but I'm not a child" (Y/n) said and stood up as well
"Never said you were" Zoro stated, his cold gaze turned away from the explosion and toward her where his eyes significantly softened at the sight of her tired expression and bearly open eyes "Just take this and find them" He groaned before pushing something into her chest
