SLOWLY MY HAIR SLOWLY THICKENS, MY BODY FILLING OUT AND HEALING MY NECK FROM BITE. Suddenly my eyes open. I was still on the couch. Suddenly I remember that Jasper and Alice was back.
I get up from the couch and walk around for a bit until I see Jasper and Alice outside talking.
"We can't stay, okay? You saw what Delilah was like back in there." Jasper told Alice
"Okay but you can't leave her like this. She didn't want to be a vampire, Jasper. You need to teach her how to be one before we leave again." Alice told him
"You're leaving, again?" I asked her
Jasper turns to me. He admires how good I look as a vampire. But his face falls in guilt and shame.
"Delilah." Jasper told me
I shake my head
Jasper walks up to me and grabs my hand
"Take a wake with me please, I'll explain everything and you can hunt if you want while we're walking." Jasper told me
The thought of me going hunting was something different something I never thought I was going to to have to do.
"Okay." I told him quietly
I walked in front of him and he placed his hand in my lower back guiding me towards the woods
We made it into the woods
We were both silent, it was weird because he had been gone for so long.
He'd been gone for 5 months so far
He signs
"I didn't want this for you." Jasper told me
"I tried to protect you..." Jasper was cut off
"You tried to protect me?! By leaving. By not staying by my side. AND LOOK WHERE THAT GOT ME!" I shouted as my eyes glowed red
"Delilah.." Jasper looked at me and stared at my eyes that were snow glowing red
"You're hands." Jasper told me
I looked down at my hands to see that they were glowing red
"You're gifted." Jasper told me
Slowly my powers went away as I calmed down
"I didn't want to leave. I really didn't, trust me. I have been as miserable as you've been." Jasper told
I furrowed my eyebrows
"How do you-" I asked him
"Alice. I asked her to keep tabs on you while I was away. One of the reason how I knew you had gotten turned. She also had a vision of you and me when you had gotten turned. We were happy, Delilah. I love you so much, I really do. I left because I thought I was protecting you but I only made it worse. I could have stopped all of this. " Jasper told me
