"No, but you could help the rest of us, if you could project it." Tanya told us

"I know how to do that already. I have done it before." I stated to her as Tanya nodded at me smiling

"What do you mean?" Bella asked Tanya

Tanya turned to Bella

"I mean shield someone other than yourself." Tanya told Bella

"Is that possible?" Bella asked

"Gifts can be developed. Over time." Carlisle stated

"At first, mine was just in my palms. Now I can radiate it all over my body." Kate stated

"How do you do it." Bella asked her

Bella takes Kate's hand, a little too hard

We were outside, when all of a sudden my phone rings. I looked at my phone and looked at the caller ID. it was my dad.

I stared at my phone. Jasper looked at my phone. I looked up at him as my phone ringed. He looked at me

"Answer it, darling." Jasper told me

I held my phone in my hand debating if I should answer it

"I don't wanna answer it." I told him quietly

"Darling. You can't just dodge them." Jasper told me

He didn't know the fully story, he didn't understand. He doesn't know what my dad told me that day.

"You don't know what my dad told me that day you proposed to me." I shook my head

Jasper titled his head, he opened his mouth to speak but was cut off when I walked away and answer the phone.

"Hello?"

"Delilah?"

"Hi, dad." I said quietly

"Where have you been?! It feels like we haven't seen you in years it feels like." My mom cut in

"Mom, dad I'm sorry." I told them

"Where are you? Are you with Jasper?" Mom asked me

"We're coming over there." Mom told me

"Mom!" I said but was cut off when they hung up the phone
